I know most of you are morons and see anything associated with Elon Musk and immediately start raging like a toddler because you only see the world in black and white.
With that said, Grok Imagine is a brain dead easy free AI video maker that will make a video in less than a minute for any image you drop into it. Much less censorship than any of your lefty loving options. One of the only online options that doesn't hold your hand and determine for you what you should see like you raging toddlers apparently think is a good thing.

If you have an X account, google account or lame apple account, you can jump right in and use it so you don't actually need an "X" account.
I bookmarked the start of a review of it. (it's only 34 seconds into the video)
10-20 free video generations per hour so not bad at all for free.
It generates sound as well which is nice although the sound isn't anything special or great.
This is for anyone with a weak sauce GPU that can't really enjoy AI locally. I'll recommend it to anyone that doesn't think using paper instead of plastic bags at the grocery store actually makes a difference. (this is for non clueless soccer mom types)
I tried a few videos and it's pretty impressive for taking under a minute with sound. It generates a video immediately but after the original generated video you can type in your own prompt to customize the output for your image.
Nice to mess around with and make videos out of illustrations/photos.

Just random image of woman jumping beside a pool. I made the image in Illustrious which isn't great for realism. Wanted to test water physics.

The only audio that remotely has effects that match the video are the Spang one.

last one was just random "man and woman in a cyberpunk bar" image I made with no prompt
in the lower left if you click on the picture icon you can see the original image. The video is better than the crappy image I gave it. Look at her eye in the image. it fixed that...although if you really wanted someone with pink eye you might be disappointed. You could prompt for it in the video I suppose.

I definitely did not intend this to be as violent as it turned out. The reaction of the elf from getting semi punch/pushed is good considering what happened. The three fingers of the elf is from the original image I made again from Illustrious just to make something fast for testing. The video generator corrected the fingers for the rest of the video. keen eye observers will notice the beer glass grew a handle as well : )The orc pushes the elf away and drinks her beer

And just to show an old Spang image from the past.she makes an angry face and then eats a french fry. An old man sits beside her.

“When they rob us of art and emotion, that leads us towards the aesthetics of fascism. In this film, all the sets are real, the decor is human-sized, there are painstakingly created miniatures... It’s an opera, made by humans for humans. It’s a film that’s there to remind us that art is not only necessary, it is urgent. And AI can go f*uck itself!” —Guillermo del Toro
For the oppressed, peace is the absence of oppression, but for the oppressor, peace is the absence of resistance.
Re: Grok Imagine
An out of touch old director. Emotions are evil. That's the problem. There's no way to separate the good from the bad. All you religious bafoons (ANY religion) have mass murdered each other for thousands of years. It's not limited to religious people but it's the easiest example of all these soccer moms with their "holier than thou" attitudes. Every time you get deeply emotional about a scene in a movie or some thespians acting it out on stage, somewhere else in the world a human is also using emotions to fly into a rage and kill someone.Spang wrote: ↑October 18, 2025, 10:19 am “When they rob us of art and emotion, that leads us towards the aesthetics of fascism. Aunt Jemima picture was AI. The video made with it was AI. I laughed and enjoyed it. Emotional fulfillment completed 100% by AI...well except for the stupidity of real humans that required the subject matter to be addressed in the first place.
Does someone really need to animate every cell of that aunt Jemima image? Work out the syrup dripping physics? Or provide real actors for it? You salty AI few will fade away because in the end there is no difference except AI is much faster than the emo artists.
Are you anti film/photos? REAL humans had to paint that in the past. Now technology takes care of it. Sound effect? People had to do those by hand, now tech takes care of it. Only the rich could go see plays. Are you a fan of making animators slave over drawing each cell of an animated movie? Are you one of those people that just keep moving the "allowed technology" bar to suit what you feel is ok? Are you some elitist that thinks only talented artists should be able to express themselves and see what they want instead of opening it up to everyone, giving them a chance to see what they want instead of rely on what others can draw for them for money? What kind of a socialist commie are you? AI is for the people, an equalizer. Come on man, remember your commie roots. AI equalizes people. Why do you think I use almost all Chinese AI models? It's because the West still is trying to make a buck off it or censoring it to smithereens.
Look at how lovingly Aunt Jemima picks up that syrup covered pancake and feeds it to the man. The joy in their faces. They are sharing a happy moment from the past before morons decided she wasn't worthy of being on a Syrup bottle. There's more soul in that video than every woke commercial I saw from 2020-2024.
