The US stock market on Friday hit an all-time high, its first since mid-February. It marked the culmination of a remarkable recovery on Wall Street since the S&P 500 was flirting with bear market territory in early April.

The S&P 500 gained 0.5%, to close at a record 6,173.07. It marked the first new record high since February 19.

The value of the dollar has dropped over 10%. We are just back to levels before all of this tariff nonsense with a lot less faith in our currency world wide.

That's a good thing unless you're vacationing in other countries. A lower valued dollar = more foreign countries buying US goods

Agree with your point here. I am the only person on my team at work that isn’t in Europe, and I can say for sure there’s been a not so subtle shift in how they talk about the US and everything going on (the director of my team from Spain recently referred to Trump as “this fucking guy” on a team call ). I’m looking at taking vacation when I’m there later this summer for work, and the current exchange rate is a stark reminder of how poorly things are going.
