XBox 360 Console question
Did any version of the XBox 360 come with internal wireless hardware, or did they all require some manner of external adaptor? I was wanting to get some Live game time for my brother-in-law, but I don't want to have to get hardware and have to hook everything up to their wifi.
Re: XBox 360 Console question
The redesign v2.0 is internal wireless. That's the black "slim" one. The original model, the white one, did not and had an adapter...even the V1.1 that came with an HDMI hookup lacked internal wireless.

Thanks, I'll have to figure out which they have. I know they have 2-3 of them, but I'll have to get a peek at which they are over Thanksgiving.

The redesign looks distinctly different from the others, so it should stand out when you are looking them over.Boogahz wrote:Thanks, I'll have to figure out which they have. I know they have 2-3 of them, but I'll have to get a peek at which they are over Thanksgiving.

Re: XBox 360 Console question
They were the older version, so I'm gonna scrap that idea for now. Thanks for the info.

Re: XBox 360 Console question
okay, thinking I may still go through with this for Christmas. It has been years since I messed with the 360, but I remember that I was able to do something other than use the Xbox 360 wireless adapters. There will be two 360's connecting to their home wifi. What would be the most cost-efficient way to connect them? Consider that there will basically be no access to the wireless from any PC.
