I didn't want to make this a poll because I know I would end up leaving some out.
When I was a kid my favorite group was the Avengers and I would buy all their comics. I remember a bunch of other groups though that I liked, such as:
Fantastic Four
Defenders
Xmen
Legion of Super Heroes
Champions
damn, drew a blank now. Oh well. What group was your favorite and who was your favorite member of that group?
For me, Avengers and Hawkeye.

I hated groups, so I had no favorite one. I enjoyed when heroes would temporarily join up for a few crossover episodes, but man I hated the teams.

For a superhero team, you really couldnt beat the XMen. Even looking all the way back to their start, they had the best team dynamics out there. Then they tried to throw that New Mutant shit out at us. That was really bad.
I also had a fondness for The Avengers. Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America made that team. The rotating of characters was also a way to keep it fresh.

Wetworks was the best IDEA for a group ever.... with very poor execution.

I think I have to go with Aran on Wetworks being one of the best ideas for a team... In actuality, I'd have to give it up to Xmen for being that damn successful over the years.

I've gotta go with the uber popular X-Men on this one. The original X-Men idea was fantastic and the title's revival in the 80's with the Uncanny X-Men refreshed the group where the Fantastic Four, Avengers, etc needed a facelift and didn't get one.

Team BokBok - Major Tom and Ziggy Stardust - is quite possibly the coolest, hippest, funkiest superhero duo this side of the Batman and Robin tv show.

I loved Wetworks...and I agree, Aran..great concept. Wasn't the execution that killed it, it was that Silvestri was completely incapable of making any deadline under 4 months late:( Had they ever come out on time..well, it wouldn't have been Image I guess, but still...

By far my favorite Super Hero is Spawn....the movie was crap but the comics are great...started reading them 9 years ago and decided they were cool so went back and collected all the issues back to 1 and nabbed all the offshoots and crossovers as they came out...still collect them just have bout 2 years worth of reading on them to catch up on hehe..
Sparty is my hero.
