Ah fuck it. I'm picking it up for 360 today. It will keep me warm for the winter.

Around 99.9% sure I'm skipping it. Cheating and obnoxious 12 year olds are a much bigger problem in Halo games than any other fps game, and it never takes long for it to ruin the multiplayer for me.

Lol, by the time I stopped playing halo reach a few months after it came out, I'd say one in every 3 matches there were multiple people aim botting and/or jump glitching.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't play Halo multiplayer at all. I'll get it for the single player...later. I still need the first one remastered as well. I might just get them both at the same time.

Yeah, if the campaign gets reviewed well, I might pick it up when it's cheap for that.

Best Halo ever so far and I've only played it 30 minutes. It's also one of the best looking games I have played. The gun sounds, movement, and"feel" of Halo have all been tweaked and improved upon.

I can't wait to play more of this. It's just great stuff.

Awesome. You should play online while all the noobs are still having fun dying. Best online console shooter ever.

Would you agree with the tweaks I stated or am I crazy? The game feels "heavier" for lack of a better term. The jumping doesn't feel as floaty and the weapons have a deeper thud to them when fired. It's still undeniably Halo though. I can't wait to try out some vehicles. I hope the new feel has carried over to them as well.

Black Ops 2 tomorrow! These will be the last two "Day 1" purchases for me for the rest of the year. Honestly, Halo 4 was an impulse buy but I'm so glad I picked it up.

Jumping is a little more "real" than in prior Halos. Movement feels more important. Weapons are just... better. So is aiming. I use a DMR, so every shot counts, especially at short range. After ~50 games played online I feel I am to the point where, once I see an enemy on screen, I can sweep my scope on top of him immediately and shoot without any delay other than my reaction time.

What makes Halo SO MUCH BETTER than CoD is that even if the enemy gets the jump, you'll usually have a chance to back off and re-group, assuming you know your surroundings. Staying alive is all that matters, and Halo rewards the tactician. Tis why I have a positive K/D ratio.

Anyone want one of the DewXP double xp codes? I don't know how useful they actually are, but I haven't turned my Xbox on in over a year.

I've been playing it a bit. It's alright, nothing stands out as too different from other Halo games. They need to figure out their server issues, we've had more laggy games playing this than any other multiplayer game I can think of.

And of course the ever present douchebags that play Halo. Some of the most obnoxious, cowardly people on the planet play this game regularly, and it results in a lot of nights where we quit before we ever really get started. The weekends are almost a total waste of time.

Here's what I want to greatly enhance my online experience for any game, a way to never be put in a match with anyone who: isn't over the age of 25, has 420 or any other weed reference in their gamer tag, has a gamer tag that has leading and trailing XX, has umad? Or anything else meant to be annoying in their gamer tag. That would be a great start. I would probably love playing this game if that all happened.

Well, I think I may be done with this Halo quicker than the rest. The pathetic cowardly bullshit tactics people that play this game use make me sick to my stomach, and they certainly sap every ounce of fun out of the game.

-Corner camping (especially camo'd) should get your ip address and every piece of personal information tied to you banned from any form of online video gaming for life.
-Same for any form of cheating or lagswitching (which is rampant in this game already)
-Running away and hiding because your shields are down is not a tactic, it makes you a pussy, and you shouldn't be rewarded for it.

After the level of bullshit we had to deal with tonight, I think me and both of the people I play with regularly are about done with Halo, which isn't saying much for me cause I'm not a big Halo fan to begin with, but they are.

It's wearing thin for me too. I like the duck and cover mechanics, but I'm only getting matched up against squads at this point, and since I usually play alone, I'm completely outmatched. Looking pretty bleak.

Yeah the last few nights its seemed like no matter what game type we play we're getting put up against paid professional gamers. I'm not great but the two guys I play with are pretty good and it's just been disheartening and no fun.

The next time I walk into a room and get killed by someone who has a power weapon and is camo'd and crouched down, only to respawn and get spawn killed, might be it for me.
