That is amazingly sad. The way that happened I wouldn't be surprised if he killed her because of that bitch.

Dear god, she has to be making that shit up...you dont "forget" about someone being kidnapped, and how hard is it to remember the police are 911
It could be that the only purpose for your every existence, is to serve as a warning to others.

After reading this I wonder if this clerk is one of those that will do or say anything to get in the news and made the whole thing up.

How could anyone take that as a joke if it happened the way she describes it. Very sad if it turns out she is telling the truth.

After they left, the clerk unsuccessfully tried to find a phone book to call police
ROFL - 911? What a dipshit.
"She said you kidnapped her," the clerk said.
Again... what a dipshit.

She should be thrown in jail for pure stupidity. Obstruction of justice or something.

When contacted by The Associated Press on Thursday, a manager at the grocery store said he didn't have any information and hung up the phone.

Jeese Taly ease up a little. You dont know this lady she is working at some market in the middle of nowhere. Maybe she is depressed that she has to work to stay alive. Maybe she was worried about her kids and why they hadnt contacted her. Everyone makes mistakes. Wishing for bad things to happen to people makes you look bad.

I would guess she feels pretty bad. It took a lot of courage to stand up and tell the world, that she is an idiot.

IF it was real, and the clerk didn't take it seriously... That's bad.

I just get an aweful feeling in my stomach when I think of what most likely happened...that someone killed an 8 month pregnant woman. It upsets me, because it makes me think of what the Manson family did to Sharon Tate. The harsh reality is that this is not just a kidnapping, and noone is likely to ever see her alive again.

I think either the husband killed his wife and their unborn son so that he could be with his girlfriend, or some crackpot who can't have children killed her and took the baby.

Either way, it will end up on Lifetime Movie Network when they find out what happened.

I feel horrible for the family members.

The woman is a 45 year old working as a cashier in a grocery store. Can you really expect anything else from her?

I probably wouldn't have taken her seriously at first...

I mean hasn't anyone said to you when you hook up at a party that they were kidnapped?

It's a common phrase when someone drags you out to do something you didn't want to do at the last minute.

Even if she said "call the police" which it doesn't appear happened...soemtimes people take the joke that far, unless she like really really made a scene you would still think it was the customer being witty.

She should have said "my name is such and such, I've been kidnapped, call 911".

The woman sounded like she took it serious though because she looked for the number to dial 911 etc...and that's jsut retarded. Actually I wouldn't even call that retarded because that is it's own level of stupidity, I worked with mentally handicapped kids for a while...and they were smarter then that.

I mean not taking it seriously is one thing, but taking it seriously and not knowing the number for 911, or forgetting it happened, or telling the kidnapper you know he kidnapped the woman...wow.
