This is all sorts of amazing. It scales for the iPad as well. Very well thought out and put together app. If you DL it remotely, you have to go to Xbox.com, sign in, and accept the new ToS before signing in on your mobile devices.
I love that they build this app to look almost exactly like the Games Hub on Windows Phone down to the accelerometer causing the avatar to fall down.
I've used it on my iPod touch and it's quite faithful to the WP7 experience. The one thing this has extra is that you can set your beacons on it. I can't do that in my games hub on my phone (all it does do though is open a browser to xbox.com though).
Now that I think of it, I wonder how much of the phishing for xbox accounts that had been going on recently were 3rd party iOS apps. Is that even possible?
*edit* Look at me showing up first in your social tab. You probably took this as I was playing with the Windows Phone Companion app. I launched TMNT from it last night. =)
It feels as if MS is stepping up their game even more. They want that living room space bad. A foothold in other places will help that along. MS really needs a strong tablet next IMO, then integrate everything in a seamless experience.
They sense blood in the water with Sony as they continue their downward spiral of financial loss. It's obvious Sony is lost in the woods, still searching for a company identity as the company continues to hemorrhage money.
SCEI is actually doing very well financially... but since you're just trolling, you probably already knew that.
The PS3 has topped the sales charts for the past 12 months despite the PSN issues and the lingering effects of the Japan earthquake/tsunami.
