Graphics and screenshots don't look particularly impressive.

I've heard the gameplay is pretty decent.

Is Planetside supposed to be similar to Neocron?

My understanding is that it's supposed to be more like a persistent Tribes.

If I remeber the original press blurbs on Planetside it was essentially the first Massively-Multiplayer First person shooter.

one of the persons on staff that created the original Tribes (which was a badass game) is on the Planetside development team. I think the gameplay will be great. Chances are you will turn the graphics down to get that better twitch performance.

Im looking forward to it.

The first mmofps was WWII online I think. This will be better I believe. Go to the sony home page and look up planetside and get the whole scoop. I like the fact that the vehicle actually took visible damage.
