Interesting coincidence
Koch Industries: primary backer of the Tea Party, second largest privately held corporation in America.
Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas: SCOTUS Justices who attended posh "retreats" funded by Koch Industries.
2 of the 5 justices who sided with Citizens United against the FEC? I'll leave that to your imagination.
At least somebody is paying attention.

Pwned by their own justice system... for now. This guy should just quit his CEO job and make letters like this for a living.

Re: Interesting coincidence
Appreciate the effort Masteen.
Unfortunately for VV, there are a million other, better, message boards to discuss reality on.
Half of VV is a Freeper fest, or, at best, a wank off in the right wing masquerading as centrist agenda. It's only made worse by men hanging on to a decade old self supporting Everquest dungeon defeating hierarchy.
Reddit's good though. You might not meet such a brick wall of sub-intellectual complacency there.
No promises though!

Re: Interesting coincidence
I think it's interesting to hear differing viewpoints.
A circle-jerk of people who all agree with each other is kinda boring.

When you're right you're right.
You can consider that my goodbye post to the Current Events forum. This place is an embarrassment to its former self. The lunatics have taken over the asylum.
Enjoy the rot.
Peace.

Re: Interesting coincidence
Sweet.
Nick will live his life thinking he's got it all figured out...maybe impress some poor uneducated Irish kids with the big words he learned in school.
And the United States is STILL kicking ass 235 years later! First there's the Roman Empire, then comes The United States of America!

Re: Interesting coincidence
It's always fun to read how dumb everyone else is so long as it's authored by an absolute nitwit such as yourself. Why confront a different opinion with at least something of a valid point instead of just saying someone is stupid? Don't worry, everyone knows the answer except for you, but go ahead and try and put yourself on that intellectual podium you think you're on.Nick wrote:Appreciate the effort Masteen.
