Why Bush won in 2004... in one act!

Post by Metanis »

My son and I were having a frank discussion that turned to the ability of George Bush to win re-election in 2004. My son was spouting nonsense about the smooth Republican machine and I stopped him in his tracks. Bush won simply because the Democrats fielded one of the worst choices imaginable.

I offer as evidence...

Reporting for Duty again?

Meanwhile, the linked article misses what should be the most serious issue about Kerry's new yacht. With 1000s of unemployed New England ship builders why did he chose to deploy his money to New Zealand? Yeah the Democrats are out there to support and protect the little guy! Right! World-class hypocrisy on display here folks. Expect this to be an issue in 2012 as we conservatives remind America about Obama's difficult life hob-nobbing with the likes of Paul McCartney and taking 87 vacations in 4 years. Way to look out for the little guy!

It's not Red vs Blue, it's us vs them, the haves vs the have nots. The elite love people like you who get caught up in all the stupid battles that only serve to muddy the waters.

In short, Kerry isn't an asshole for where he parks his yacht, he's an asshole for being rich, powerful, and better than us.

On a side note, I would move my boat too. Anyone that knows better would.

That may be the case. Besides who wouldn’t try to save a half-million dollars if they had the chance?
You know you would.

And besides, what do unemployed New England ship builders have to do with anything? Are there any yacht builders even in New England? Maybe New Zealand just makes better boats. Why do people buy German cars? Do they not care about all the unemployed Detroit workers? See how non-sensical that argument is? I'm sure you probably don't.
