Inland Empire

Can someone explain this movie to me? I'm a fan of David Lynch and non-serial plotlines in general but this movie was just 3 hours of scenes that left me scratching my head.

Ah, forgot about this one. I had started to watch it a few years back and it left me a bit confused and fuzzy-headed.

I had only gotten about 15 minutes in. :)

Alas, it is David Lynch, and the man will tell you himself sometimes that he doesn't even fully understand what is going on. I heard him say that during a radio interview when Mulholland Drive premiered some years ago.

This is the only one of his movies where I had NO CLUE what was going on... ever.

I understood Mulholland Drive for the most part end enjoyed it immensely (and seriously, who wouldn't?).

But Inland Empire had me totally confused.

read something about this movie which said the only way to have any clue as to what is going on is to catch something that the neighbor says in the first 10-15 minutes of the movie. Pretty crappy.
