I have to severely disagree about loving the initial Mortal Kombat stuff, but that trailer/short was pretty damn cool imo. Hope it gets picked up and turns out well!

So apparently Warner's acquisition of Midway included the Mortal Kombat license.
This is just a short that was shopped to them as a potential reboot.

If there's another MK movie made, it will be years before it hits the theatres and there's little chance it will resemble this short.
