Little info on EQ helmets (Also a little trivia)

I need to find out what EQ helmets have the same graphic as TOV helmets. (i.e. human=batwings helmet, high elf male=tiger helmet ect.)
any help would be greatly appreciated but i also dont want to sound like a nag which is why i threw in the trivia part for you all.

Name the helmets in EQ that have the same graphic as TOV helmets.

NOTE:OLD models not the new luclin models.

Sence they changed the graphics with the new UI...all plate helms have the same graphic as the ToV helms....your standard plate help same looks as ToV.

hmm any more helms that ppl know about? surely there must be more people here that have a helm wiht the same graphic as TOV helm. maybe different color but same graphic

Ok pal, here. All the Plate helms are customizable, the Cowl of Mortality, the Crown of the Kromzek Kings, the Dain Helm, and the Helm of the Tracker. Leather, Chain, Silk are not customizable, nor is the White Dragon Helm from the Yelinak quest. This should answer your question fully.

hmm ive been away for a bit didnt realize this customizable feature. when you say all plate helms are customizable does that mean only the helms you listed or any plate helm is customizable?

just about every helm graphic looks worse than the 'crown' graphic in my opinion.

nothing was worse than the old female wood elf plate helms though. how did they get their ears out of those things?

Customizing a helm in old models makes it go from the traditional style models to the "newer" velious ones (i.e. dwarfs go from the mini viking style to the box tops for males and the curly horned helms for females. barbs go from the long-horn style to the golden short horned). In new models it makes some of the helms go from graphicless to having a graphic in line with the race/sex of the char.

ANY plate quest helm is customizable. IE cleric quest, paladin quest, warrior quest, shadow knight quest.

The Tinkered Helm from Velious also carries the "ToV Custom" look. Drawback being that it is only wearable by Plate wearing Gnomes, that and there are no stats, save the AC.

I should have never customized my SS hat. On old models it was bubble-gum face and on new models, it is a croissant.

The tinkered helm look was cool on gnomes pre Lag-land expansion and every plate wearing gnome having the same helmet.

I always wanted a custom bullet helm while in DE instead of the skull as well.

no when velious came out a shaman hat from POG had a rat head on it.

they really need to bring back the rat hat.

I think the helm designers for EQ since the very beginning were the result of the highest paid 3D artists in the industry doing big time research and getting paid big money to come up with the ugliest fucking headgear that is possible for a human being to wear.

honestly kyoukan would have looked less ridiculous wearing one of those beer hats with the double can holders.

Helm of ro is a quest plate helm.
Is this also customizable to look like TOV helms?

Also are the quest to customize your helm difficult?

Any VELIOUS plate quest helm is customizable. Like the ones that drop in ToV or Kael and you turn in along with gems. And they arent hard, they arent even really quests to customize them, you just give it to the guy and he gives it back

But wait a minute dont those Kael/thurg TOV helms already have the proper graphic? why would they need to be customizable?

They have a regular graphic when you first get em, like fine plate or whatever. When you customize it is when it gets the fatty new velious look.
