Stupid people amaze me.

A district attorney in Juneau County, Wisconsin, warned teachers in a memo sent to schools that if they teach the new sexual education curriculum mandated under state law, they could be arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a child.

Because the law requires teachers to instruct children not only about contraceptives but about how to use them, Juneau County District Attorney Scott Southworth said, schools are forced to encourage students to "engage in sexual behavior, whether as a victim or an offender."
Someone should go tell that jackass to go watch 16 & Pregnant on MTV because whether he wants to believe it or not, high school kids are fucking like jack rabbits.

"schools are forced to encourage students to "engage in sexual behavior, whether as a victim or an offender."

Way to foster a healthy perspective about sex. Won't be any serial killers coming from that family.

My kids are hitting the age where we have to seriously discuss these things. My son is 14 and I was already having sex by then. My daughter turns 12. We have talked with both. We have not told them sex was bad. In fact, we tell them it is GREAT. We just explain the responsibilities involved. Shows like 16 and pregnant have been great because they show the reality of having a kid. (and sometime glamorize it, I know) It leads to great discussions with your kids. Sex need to stop being treated as this dirty thing.

I do not want my son or daughter to be a 35 year old married person thinking sex is dirty and gross. I want them to live a healthy sex life and get their freak on like their dear old dad still tries too every night with their very tired mom!!!!!
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

You pretty much nailed it on the head as far as I'm concerned.

I hope that local teachers call his bluff and teach sex ed anyway. Good fucking luck winning a conviction against a teacher who's providing a legally required curriculum. Brilliant use of taxpayer resources.
