This looks bad ass. The cinematography looks great and with those actors I can't imagine it sucking.

Ray Stevenson (from Rome) will be in this. Add Gary Oldman, Michael Gambon (Dumbledore) and Denzel Washington and we have a badass combination.
Like you, Fair, I will howl bloody murder. However, I don't think it'll be that. It's too much of a dramatic letdown; for them to build it up as the focus of the movie, it would have to be something that would have a noticeable effect on the world around him.

No way it'll be the Bible. There's only one book that could be man's salvation...

Eh... I mean, it was pretty obvious that's what it would be. I thought they did a pretty good job about it. In fact, I like how the main antagonist wanted to get the Bible so that he could manipulate the masses. That's pretty spot on with how I feel the Bible has always been used. I'm strongly anti-religion, and borderline atheist, but I can appreciate that the Bible has some good messages in it. I don't think they were heavy-handed at all in trying to convey that message, and I thought the movie was pretty entertaining overall.

One question: were they trying to say Denzel was blind? He was always wearing his sunglasses, and at the end when they zoomed in on his eyes, before they revealed the BIG TWIST about his book, it looked as if his eyes were kind of milky. I know it would be really hard to explain a lot of what he did, but even if he wasn't blind he seemed to have a preternatural sense of people attacking him from behind and whatnot. It would explain how he smelled the people trying to ambush him at the beginning and the shampoo on Solara's mom's hair, not to mention the BIG TWIST.
