I had to google it to find out that it wasn't a joke... it looks so old. I'm sure it will be funny, but I doubt it's going to do very well at the box office. The story on the website about Blaxploitation was a very interesting read. I never knew Shaft was supposed to be a white guy.

Agreed about the rib scene. My problem with Sucka is it loses steam big-time halfway through. I wouldn't be surprised if this did, too.

So this finally came to my town, and I went and saw it. It was certainly worth the price of admission! This movie was hilarious, and much better than I'm Gonna Get You Sucka. They threw in a ton of references and a crapload of nods to those old blaxploitation movies. Things like the boom mics being easily visible or a few outakes that were there because of "poor editing". Not to mention good old fashioned black stereotype humor.
For what it was, 9.5/10
