I'm all for spirited political discussion, but the number of people coming to these meetings with absolutely no clue what the contents of these health care reform packages are is truly disheartening. Retarded punditry is fine here, but when you get a chance to actually speak to one of the movers and shakers of the gubmint, don't you owe it to yourself to come armed with facts, and not just a picture of Obama with a little Hitler mustache and a purse full of hate?

The Dems need to grow some fucking balls and steamroll the Republicans. Obama tried to reach out to them, and they slapped his hand away. I think it's honorable that he tried, but he needs to give up and move on without them. Try and reach out again after 2010 elections.

With full control of the House and Senate, the Dems should be getting shit done. Instead they can't seem to find thier asses with both hands.

It's sad that more of our leaders are not standing up to the bullies.

BTW, I'm pretty sure that the idiot he pwned was a Larouche fanatic, not a conservative. She had their anti-Obama poster and same look and demeanor of every bat-shit insane Larouchette I've ever met.

From my experience the most vocal, vitriolic Larouche followers are women. I say this as someone who went to dozens of meetings with these folks during college. They were always dominated by college-aged women who seemed to be so utterly indoctrinated that you could have no conversation with them that didn't involve their Larouche talking points. The woman Barney Frank retaliated against was a living caricature of these "Larouchettes".
