Best reality gameshows

Post by Ennia »

yeah another poll
I know some of you hate them, some watch them and most won't admit they do watch :P

which one you like/watch pretty regularly or like the concept of?

I can't list everything that's out there and I'm not counting those you can watch just for the sake of watching (Osbournes), only those that involve some kind of game or contest to win a prize.

Had to pick Big Brother cause I so got into the drama for the last one. I had dreams of being Marcellas' fag hag.

added Amazing Race, there goes my alphabetical order lol

Personally I voted for Survivor, pretty straight forward man vs man with enviroment weaved in and interesting scenery show.
Concept is getting old but new locations usually revive my interest each season.

Joe is close second, althought I don't see how they could make a sequel to that.

the only thing those simple-minded, fat-bellied, charisma-less sycophants on survivor have to survive is their own insipid personalities.

put them in a tent in the middle of grozny and see who fucking survives.

Agreed. I can't watch that show any more. The first season was good. Now it is as nausiating(spelling?) as trying to watch Sex in the City.

Joe Millionaire is just a himbo and a legion of bimbos in France.

Not like france did not already have enough of both.

The one with vague connections to a local Chechnyan warlord. Duh?! :)

On a serious note, I thought the inaugural season of Survivor was brilliant. Richard and company were the best. And unfortunately, it was all downhill from there. The premise became stale after just a few episodes of Season 2, and I haven't even bothered to watch the most recent few seasons.

Joe Millionaire is the best reality show currently on the air, though.

Joe Millionaire all the way. How about the other night when that knuckledragger was leaving his date with Zora (?) and he was like "To think I was driving a bulldozer 3 weeks ago..." What a clown.

Anybody know how many episodes are left? I hate being bound to a television show, but I have to see every episode.

I respectfully request that you add Temptation Island to the options. By far, that was my favorite show!

Joey $ is just so original. The others seam so played out at this point. I don't think Survivor could ever be enjoyable again....just like Joe Mil won't be great the hundreth time either.

I can't believe he slipped on the bull dozing thing. The man is so dumb it took him like 10 seconds of silence to think of an excuse...and he fucked that up. He says three weeks...the simple response "well...it feels like three weeks at any rate, although it was 2 years ago."

Plus...the term "knuckledragger" really fits this guy. My roomate told me she would kill any man that bought her a fooken portrait.

Quote of the episode: "I don't know...it makes me look 'ethnic'."

Did anyone ever catch the MTV series 'Fear'? I haven't seen any new episodes, but that was one helluva good show. For those that missed it, they would put ~6 pre-pubescent dolts together and they a few of them would be picked for several missions at a 'haunted' location. They had cameras atteched to them so you could watch their facial expressions when they screamed or the snot dripping out of their noses. Good stuff.

I thought this thread was titled "Beastiality Game Shows". Man vs. Beast would be the winner of that one.

On topic, Joe is pretty good, but meet my parents is so fucked up, I can't help but enjoy it the most of all.

Hayley, can't really add TI since it's not really a contest, it's fun to watch but only thing they can win is their partner back.

vote "other" :P

Remember that USA series call Combat Missions a while back?

That was fun to watch.

They got a bunch of special forces guys Delta force to SEALS to LAPD swat members.

They put them into teams and they competed against each other in military simulations. (blow up the depot, rescue the hostages etc.)

The funny thing was the team that won the series was primary made up of Narcotics and police SWAT team members. Friggen Dallas and LA PD beat Delta Force and SEAL folk.

American Idol this week was faring hilarious. Once Simon is done ripping people then I will probably stop watching it. But it is pretty amazing how some of the people think they can actually sing. It can be painful to listen to them sometimes though.

Matt and John were great choices. Matt will have a great personality for WWE. I'll have to wait to see how they personify John.

I saw on CNN where a gameshow is coming out called "Who Wants To Be A NBA/WNBA Star". Words can't express how bad this could possibly be.
