Fringe
I just gotta say that this chick is really hot. The show is really cool too. Like X-Files but better.
I'm noticing that a lot more Aussie and British actors are playing Americans on tv. Hugh Laurie as House, that Aussie that plays Lee Adama, the hotty from Chuck. Not that I'm complaining. Just noticing.

Listen, you fucking fringe, if I throw a dog a bone, I don't want to know if it tastes good. Stop me again whilst I'm walking and I'll cut your fucking jacobs off.

Re: Fringe
easy there, Bricktop...but The Fringe the show is awful...the acting, its not acting...the reading of the script to a camera...its terrible. Just plain terrible. It is nothing close to xfiles. My fears of all these new "scifi" shows that are coming out is becoming reality so far. My fear that they would all just be rushed garbage to hurry to the market and get as much of a scifi audience as they can.
The Fringe needs more work. Perhaps the show grows on you?

Re: Fringe
Agreed.. it needs "something". Right now it's just a bunch of special effects and weird ideas. The crazy doctor guy makes the show presently. The guy playing his son is decent, but the rest of the actors basically suck. The writing isn't interesting or involving and there's no mystery to the mystery show. It's like, this is a nifty special effect - now let's spend an hour trying to find where it came from.
Sons of Anarchy is a much better new show.

Re: Fringe
I am about ready to start catching up on this one. Since UVerse turned the WHDVR on, I have been watching a lot more of what I have been recording. I keep trying to make sure that the TV is not on a channel I am recording from if I can hear it. The Fringe happened to be on when I was changing channels at least once, and I thought it looked kickass...then I realized what it was and changed the channel to prevent myself from spoiling the earlier episodes. This will be the next one I watch after catching up on Heroes.

Re: Fringe
We enjoy it. It isn't the best show in the world, but it is decent. I wouldn't be too upset if they end up canceling it, though.

I'd have preferred to keep Journeyman over this show. But it's better than Wonder Woman.

Re: Fringe
I'm catching up on this series. Each episode is just barely keeping me interested. I think the main characters are all pretty weak. I really can't stand the female lead. She's less emotional than the Bald Man, ffs.
Re: Fringe
When it used to come on after House I watched it on occasion. It generally bored me to tears, and the characters (except for the old guy) were completely bland and unoriginal.

Re: Fringe
I watched the pilot months before the series even began to air. There was nothing there that really compelled me to want to watch anymore episodes beyond that.

Re: Fringe
We watch it... I just like it cause it is sort of a replacement for the X-Files for me.

My husband and I love this show. It's pretty ridiculous but quite entertaining. No new episodes until April though.

I'm still enjoying the show and it sounds like it's a very likely possibility it will be back for another season.

Re: Fringe
I sure hope so. Lately I have been watching them the day after while at work. Fox shows full episodes. The commercials are fewer and faster. I still dvr it incase the boss comes in early and I can't watch it.

Yeah, I think it got stronger as the season went on. I am looking forward to S2.

THREAD NECRO!
So I've been watching the new season on the Hulu, and it's really good.

Re: Fringe
I just watched the latest episode, and it would be easy to say "X-files did it!" but these characters do lend themselves to faux-noir really well.

Re: Fringe
I just started watching this show. I like it. Except the parts where someone asks Olivia a question and she just gives them the "Olivia Dunham Dumb Smile".

Re: Fringe
Anyone know where I can watch the Finale of Season 1 and the beginning of season 2 online? I'd hate to have to use netflix to get the actual media.

Re: Fringe
Saw that the finale was on thewb.com, but I am not sure that all of the early parts of season 2 are there
Re: Fringe
OK, I guess I saw that one. I didn't realize it was the finale (I thought the description was that it was a lead-up to the finale). Now to find Season 2 first episode...
