Re: Street Fighter IV
maybe I am in the minority, but I like slim athletic and petite builds, not the big muscular women or girls with big sloppy asses, I mean in real life, I really don't care about what they look like in games.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

Re: Street Fighter IV
The game looks like yet another rendition of street fighter 2. Color me unimpressed. I like fighting games, but they gotta be more than 2D fireballs and hyper-uppercuts. The Street Fighter and Mortal Combat people need to move the fuck on already!
I need a woman with a 40 inch ass minimum. 42-44 is my sweet spot. (yes, I measure!) After you've been with a woman with an ass like that, there's no fucking way you can go back to a 5ft 4inch 100lb women! Of course, I'm into all sorts of weird ass related fetishes and stuff, so maybe I'm the one in the minority.

Re: Street Fighter IV
Anyone playing this? I used to be a master at this game back when it was the original Street Fighter 2.
Picked this up in the hopes of rekindling that old childhood addiction.
This is the best rendition since the original imo. Love the balance, graphics, special moves etc.
Online play could be alittle better. I spend a good bit of time trying to find an active ranked match that doesn't tell me the other party is already in a match or that I simply can't join (no reason given).
Have not run into many lag issues and 98% of the time the fights are flawless without hitching or lag.
I started off rather slow, but I have to say now I win 9/10 ranked matches!
Looking for a good challenge, if anyone here plays and fancies a match PM me or add me to friends.
Gamertag = Mourn Demon.
Highly recommend this game if you like fighting games or loved the old street fighter. This is hands down the best remake of the series in my opinion. Very true to SF2 and a blast to play when you get into a good match!

Re: Street Fighter IV
Yeah I'm not too good and the one night I tried I was not able to win a single ranked match, but I've still had fun with this game.
I HATE 3D fighting games and wish that Mortal Kombat would have never gone that route, cause it just ended up sucking as much ass as every Tekken/etc game that's ever been made
2D like this, with updated features and stuff makes for a perfect match with me.

Re: Street Fighter IV
Jesus Christ I suck at this game. I'm talking "taking suck to a whole new level" of sucking. I'm trying to play through each character on easy mode to get a feel for the game and characters and I still get my ass handed to me. I won a close match vs a female character I had never seen before. Rounds 2 and 3 I never even hit her. She turned into a flaming figure of death and destroyed me over and over again with stupid awesome extreme 12 billion point combogasams in which I never had a chance. I tried to beat her 8 times. I gave up after that! I started over with a new character and the big russian dude did a special move that took over half of my health. WTF?!? Is there a setting for retard so I can stand a chance?
I'm looking up some advice online on how not to suck so hard at this game and hope to get some revenge later today.

Re: Street Fighter IV
Playing with a normal 360 controller will preclude any hope at being good at this game I've found. The D-pad is just horrible on it. I was looking into getting one of the Madcatz fight-pads, but they're always sold out. So the game sits in its case for me

Re: Street Fighter IV
Yep, forget about playing SF4 with a 360 controller... just forget about it.
The Fightpads for the 360 are stupidly overpriced (50-90 bucks) but it's your cheapest option to make the game playable on your 360.
The PS3 controller is pretty good for SF4 but I picked up a Fightpad anyway. It was only $34.
I'd only recommend the $150 fightsticks if you're into the game hardcore.

Re: Street Fighter IV
I'm glad to hear that it is the 360 controller and not me. Some of the more complex moves like ken/ryu's uppercut only seem to work half the time for me. I kinda stopped playing for this same reason, I was barely able to beat the campaign on easy with Ken.
I'll have to get one of the fightpad's, I might actually play this again, then.

I played Undisputed a bit at a friends place last night...
I got bored after like 30 minutes.
Very disappointing.
