Dear lord. I watched this last night. I won't lie, it is kind of a guilty pleasure though I won't be upset if I miss it altogether. Being the premeire though I wanted to see the new judge and watch some of the more freaky people who just don't have a clue. Bikini chick was kind of hot.

Wow. Wife didn't even mention it and this is her favorite show. Whole family is sick and everyone slept through it (except me, I was on baby the sick daughter duty, which entails sitting by her and fetching water, ice packs, washcloths, crackers, medicine etc whatever the hell she needs to feel better).

I heard the new judge is more like Simon, who's destruction of the dreams of the unworthy is the only enjoyable part of the show, so if I'm forced to watch it, maybe it won't be too bad.

So I was playing Shadowrun last night(my guilty pleasure, love that game still) and between rounds I glance up at my wife's screen and bikini chick was the one on the screen. This was the first(and hopefully the only) time, I'll be interested in Idol.

I don't see how people think the new judge is anything like Simon. She's more like a mid-point between Paula and Randy.

The new girl is annoying as hell. She seems to be trying to hard to fit in with the other three and in the process ends up looking like a fool.
