My dog has a couple of those, but she got too impatient trying to get the treats out of it after a while. I have tried a couple versions and neither can keep her attention as long as her "tow rope." I think that is because she seems to prefer the interaction more. Also, she does have one ball that she stole from one of the kids in my building that she will sit and lick for hours. It is one of the textured balls that I remember having during recess in elementary school.
