Most disappointing game of 2008?
Too Human is an easy choice for me. I think there were maybe 7-8 enemies in the entire game. It was painfully average in every way possible.
What are your picks and why?

LOL. I loved Too Human. Easily clocked 70+ hours in it.
My only real dissapointment this year is that I lacked the time and the money to actually play more games.
I still haven't tackled Fallout3, Fable 2, Infinite Undiscovery or The Last Remnant. I know that I'll be getting Vesperia for X-mas as well so I'm happy about that.

What are you guys talking about? Spore was a lot of fun for nearly tens of minutes!

Of the games I played, which is not a lot, Fable 2. So overhyped.

Right on... I was fascinated for the tens of minutes it took to get to stage 3 and then never ran it again. quite sad.Sylvus wrote:What are you guys talking about? Spore was a lot of fun for nearly tens of minutes!

if you were walking around and you came upon a tulip with tits, would you let it be for the rest of the world to enjoy.. or would you pick it and carry it off to a secluded area to motorboat them?

Damn. I'm sure as hell glad I didn't buy Spore! I really liked the creature creator. I forget why I didn't get it when it was released, but since then the reviews helped me dodge a bullet!

Damn, I just mentioned this in the other post.
MADDEN 09 due to EA Sports not making it for the PC.

Spore
I was duped by my initial experience with it to stage 2!
It's like the Wii. Looks like fun but not really after once or twice.

I'd say Fable 2 but I knew that was going to be an overhyped pile of shit.
I never thought Spore would deliver either.
I guess I'd have to go with Left4Dead. It's fun and I like it but the lack of an SDK is really hampering the replay value and everyone I played with is fast getting bored with it.

Re: Most disappointing game of 2008?
yeah 2K8 was atrocious, I could not even finish a game with the lag so bad.
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

I played Spore like an addict for two days and then dropped it like a testicle.
