The Obama circle-jerk is quite amusing, like watching a retard hump a football.

You're too invested for your own good. When he loses, what the fuck are you going to do? I would hope you'd be reasonable about it, but I think that's too much to expect.

That's asinine. Too invested in the political proccess that determines what the government's role is going to be in our lives for the next four years?

He's pointing out that xyun has all chips down in every way possible on Obama winning. So what happens when he doesn't win (and he won't) ?

I'll tell you. He will be absolutely rabid and flying off the handle about it. He will probably claim that there were fudged votes because that's the only way his precious messiah could lose the election. It's kinda pathetic, really, but I would be willing to bet it will go down exactly like that - and xyun will be far from the only person being that way.

Yes I agree. Give up Xyun! Stop trying to promote change. Stop believing. Join in the apathy and vote for 4 more years of the same fucking thing. Vote not only for prolonging an illegal war, but for creationism, fetus-chucking and big oil.

You know you want to.

Exactly...

And canelek, I am not suggesting he give up and vote differently, I'm suggesting that he stops being such an obnoxious, propaganda spewing, rabid douchebag. If I wanted rabid liberal commentary I'd watch one of the 5 billion TV shows that would at least be mildly more entertaining than him.

I recall being pretty open minded in the beginning, even pro-Obama, and increasingly moving away from him. I have never been a McCain cheerleader or made such declarative statements as any of the Obama crowd.

Right.

Xyun and friends have been making new threads and comments constantly about how Obama is so great in every way and everyone that disagrees is a fucking moron and everything that's wrong with this country. They have not been looking to promote any kind of conversation, just to have a circle jerk and blow their pathetic little loads in anyone's face that doesn't agree with them

It was cute at first, even a little amusing. But it lost both those qualities a long time ago.

I want you to take some time and show me proof that ANYONE on the opposing side of xyun is being anywhere near the cheerleader for McCain that he is for Obama. I want to warn you ahead of time though that I'm setting you up for failure.

Typical.

A valid counter-point is made to something you said in a non inflammatory way and all you can do is use some tired out insult you've said probably a hundred times.

You're asking for proof on how people interpret xyun's pro Obama stuff vs how they interpret other peoples pro McCain stuff. I don't think that's a reasonable thing to debate, especially because it is so subjective.

Funkmasterr would like all you Obama supporters to keep your positive remarks about Obama to yourself. Keep your negative remarks about Palin and/or McCain to yourself, too.

If you have anything negative to say about Obama, feel free to do so at anytime. Positive comments regarding Palin/McCain are encouraged.

I think you're probably right about this, but that's because nobody gives a shit about McCain. I think that if you compare senseless rabid pro-Obama comments to senseless rabid anti-Obama comments, you'd have more equality.

Sueven brings up a good point, and I assumed that Pro McCain == Anti-Obama (and anti-Mccain == pro obama, etc) in my counting of the thread.

Yes, it is entirely subjective. Personally, I feel like Sirton is much worse than Xyun, but you clearly feel the opposite. Hence it being subjective (i.e. we read into peoples posts differently). What makes you say it it completely ridiculous to say otherwise? why is it completely ridiculous? why is your opinion of Xyun's posts objective vs subjective?

What threads were created by Xyun to specifically annoy the opposing side and not promote discussion? You might make a case for promoting discussion, in his posts that only contain a link to a youtube video, but i think it was to make people laugh, not annoy the opposing side.

Also, Sirtons comments are pro-McCain (anti-obama) as frequently as Xyun's. And there are more liberal posters here than conservative, of course there will be more fucking pro-Obama posts than pro-McCain.

Only when it comes from you and the moron brigade. I said a long time ago I'm not wasting my time on actually trying to have an intelligent conversation with you people. That doesn't mean I can't point out what a moron you are. So yeah.. Get used to it. Don't like it? Use the ignore feature. Other than that... Too bad.

The two were not the same in this case, because what specifically was being argued is the frequency of obnoxious xyun/yay lib posts to the frequency of obnoxious cheerleader posts from the opposing view. If sirton is the only one that is on the radar on the conservative side of things, well I guess that solidifies the fact that I'm right.

I don't care if there are more liberal posters and that's why this happens. The fact is that it is happening, there are extremely frequent posts by xyun and others like him, which makes this forum worthless after a while because people get sick of seeing it constantly. Sirton has made maybe 20 posts in the past 2 years total, most of which have been the past few months, so I don't know how there is any comparison at all.

This thread is precisely what I'm talking about, if you want an example (I could give others though, I assure you). When he makes a post like this, what it comes off as is him posting a link to a already one sided and inflammatory video, and he presents it in a way that is even more arrogant than the content linked - I can just tell he gets a warm feeling inside knowing when he posts the video, and that's pathetic. That's why I don't like him, and that's why you defending his right to be a cock is in your best interests, somehow...

You might think it's funny, but I'm guessing not too many people that don't agree with the content of the video are just mostly annoyed after the first 200 times it's happened.

Xyun: Clearly enthusiastic about his candidate and wants to express that, might take some joy in stirring up the right, but not his primary concern.

Sirton: Gets drunk and posts "to piss off some libs" by his own admission.

Metanis: No contest.

It's already estabished that you find anyone and anything that doesn't agree with you 100%, not only annoying, but so personally offensive that you wish they were dead.

I'm gonna have to go ahead and conclude that your "fact" is again your opinion seen through the prism of your own ignorance and distain for anyone that isn't you.

When Midnyte made the nonsensical argument that Exxon should not be held accountable for their accident, which has caused great suffering and has had dire consequences that are still prevalent two decades later, because in his words, "that's the way the world is", I asked him if he would hold the same standard to someone who accidentally caused him similar suffering or consequences. Instead of introspectively identifying the flaw in his argument, namely the violation of the golden rule or the inability to put himself in the shoes of those who continue to suffer, he first flew off the handle and accused me of the wanton suffering of his family, of being his personal Exxon, which in itself is not only completely false but also quite ironic and hilarious, and then he tucked his tail and ran like a cowardly dog. He would rather lash out in anger and run away like a little bitch than simply admit that OMFG he was wrong and Exxon should be held fucking accountable, and that the way the world works is not always the way it should work, that sometimes we need to stand up and fight the status quo to change this world, or to improve this country, as has been done throughout our history. His reaction was unsurprisingly the epitome of cowardice, of the betrayal of truth and reality over stubbornness, of rabid emotion trumping clear and critical thought, and of the inability to admit being wrong. These are all characteristics overwhelmingly displayed by George Bush and their continuation is exemplified by John McCain.

Kilmoll is right in that I'm pretty moderate politically. I believe in the death penalty, and in the right to bear arms. I agree with McCain on immigration and I disagree with Obama on guns. I don't want the government to interfere or to be involved in my life unless I ask for and need their help (especially in times of crisis and/or catastrophe), but I do want them to be there to defend me, my family, and this country's past ideals and future generations by force if necessary, and to that end I do want them to continue to maintain the most powerful military on earth. I genuinely don't hate anyone who's intent is first and foremost the betterment of America, and I respect any competent (in governing, not campaigning) politician despite the appearances of vile slander that I spit towards them.

Having said that, I have absolutely no patience for the ignorance of the mindless sheeple like Funk who by their own admission do not care to carefully craft arguments nor educate themselves on the issues on which they take soap box and holier than thou stances. Instead of taking into account the real issues, the actual words of the actual candidates (which is what I linked above), they whine and cry like little bitches that I have too much enthusiasm (if such a thing is possible) for the improvement of the country that I love. What a fucking sad state of affairs when apathy is the norm and duty is the exception. What a fucking sad state of affairs that the criminality of the American government is not simply ignored but willingly encouraged! They chastise welfare for the poor but champion welfare for corporations. They are the true socialists. They demand from me taxes to pay for the greed and corruption and filth of their puppeteers as we all watch American cities drown. They show no shame, none whatsoever in not taking the history of this country or their own responsibilities as citizens seriously.

It gratifies me to no end to watch you cowards cry like the whimpering dogs you have proven to be. I've watched and laughed as you have let your emotions decide your political stances, decide your agendas, decide your votes that have brought us to this sad and pathetic state of affairs where the most sacred American ideals are corrupted because you pussies are too sensitive to deal with the idea that the man you voted into office is a complete and utter failure. Because you pussies are too stubborn to admit that you were wrong and too obstinate to realize your childish and immature emotions are corroding this country. You disregard the importance of things like truth, evidence, reality, reason, and logic when they make you feel wrong never considering the idea that hey, you may actually be fucking wrong! Moreover, you publicly and shamelessly are willing to let the utter failure continue, not because you have some semblance of reason to endorse your own candidate, but because your poor little wiener is threatened by the idea of a true and inspirational leader who brings his country together instead of tearing it apart. You simply prefer to be distracted by the goddamn circus. And I'll be goddamned if I am going to sit idly by and watch you sabotage and infect the things I hold most dear with your inadequacies and your shortcomings once again. And what will I do after this election, win or lose? Whatever I can for the rest of my life to render you right wing lunatics impotent. I love this country too much not to.

Feel free to cry some more, pussies.

I think this just might be one of the most sane and truthful statements i've read on this entire forum in it's entire existance.. and is not only applicable to this thread, but universally to Americans in general.

The big question is how will the history books remember the United States circa (1776-2000) 500 years from now?

will 2001-2010 be considered the Decline and Fall of the American Empire?

200 years isn't a bad run historically. The Roman Empire was ~400 years but really it had 200 solid years. Of course, we weren't a factor early on so it's not really 200 years. The country is only 232 years old.

It's interesting that we have an Iranian Immigrant/refugee turned U.S. citizen championing our cause. That's always been the strength of our country. While other countries rot with inbreeding, the U.S. gets fresh meat on a consistent basis to keep us going. Thank you Xyun! Impregnate as many of our women as you can! We don't want cross-eyed babies here!

It's people like you that used to laugh at the people who said the earth wasn't flat. You can't see further than your own block, therefore all the evidence suggests that the world is flat.

The fact that you think I'm a moron improves my self esteem greatly.

Good. Do you aspire to be an obnoxious prick with far too high an opinion of yourself like your hero xyun someday too? Just keep it up if so.

You guys are fucking jokes, seriously.

You wonder why I don't expend the energy to engage you, yet not a single one of you has been able to address the points I've made as to why I don't, because I'm right - and you're douchebags.

Keep deluding yourself further and further though.

Let me take a moment to do something I'd never thought I'd do- defend Xyun. Of all the "lib" posters on this board, I take the time to read his posts and consider his words because I know that he actually thinks about them before posting, and I place a great deal of value on that. I disagree with him much more than I agree, but I accept that as part of this great process we have in this country.

Funk, I'm not sure why you have issue with the fervency of Xyun's support for Obama. It's what you're supposed to do- support the candidate you believe in and do what you can to help him get elected. If I feel his facts are wrong, and I care to muster the energy, I will challenge him. Or, more likely, not. Regardless, I'm glad he's involving himself in the process, no matter my level of agreement.

If McCain is President on November 5th, my guess is Xyun will saddened and maybe a little pissed, but he will go on, he will still love his country, hope McCain makes the best choices he can for the common good of all peoples, and start campaigning for the next person when he can. If Obama wins that's what I will do. It's the American way, and he and I both support it.

I'll sum it up as briefly as I can:

1- If I wanted to hear his constant Obama circle jerking I would go to a democratic convention or rally or something. However, I don't give a shit to hear the Obama fanboi bullshit, which is why I don't do what I said above.

2- The way he presents shit 75% of the time is obnoxious, arrogant, and is only made with pissing other people off in mind. Doubting this is the case is retarded if you've ever read his posts, hell - he's talked about how giddy pissing someone off with his political bs has made him on numerous occasions.

There are people I don't agree with here that I still don't mind or can even get along with. This is because they don't go out of their way to be a prick, which is largely the reason that almost all the enjoyment I get in posting here has been removed. I am no longer interested in the constant flaming and name calling bullshit, however there are many people here I would like to have discussions with on many issues in a civilized fashion, but that will never happen.

Im just trying to make this board: FAIR AND BALANCED ITS FOX NEWS!!!! :?

Hell Im more Anti-Federal Government control (which is Obama in this case) than anything else. Federal Government areas I don't mind being grown or very strong= Military, trade, transportation, equality among Americans etc. Basic shit. State and local government's should have more control to be there own like San Fransico too Houston, or Massachusetts to Texas.

Ive had one business and 6 years of my life (Becoming a Dr.) took away by the Federal government and healthcare hoops they made me jump through (I pray they don't get there hooks into Healthcare anymore). Well have Doctors making the pay of teachers, but they have to pay 200k to be educated???(And people wonder why so many doctors are becoming foreigners they can't even understand.) How are they going to pay for there lease, there employees, equipment, electricity and time. When Medicare will only pay 15$ for a adjustment and the patient must have a xray and exam which the Government wont pay for to some Doctors!!!!! And now many patients think there basic healthcare should be a right and hate to pay for any of it. Hell Medicare takes about a year for a Doctor to even get on. They had 4 people answering the phones nationally for Doctors and applying issues (How on earth can you startup as a doctor). Thats the Government for you!!!

What's funny is now I make my living off the Government, printing 1000's of there regulations a day on everyone out. Obama would make me personally extremely wealthy with all the new government mandates, but just because the issue of encroachment of the federal government and that he's a racist I could never vote for that man.

BTW Im at 21 post now need about 20,000 more to catch up.....PREPARE TO BE SPAMMED!!!!!
