Obama and Biden rip McCain apart! (videos)
Just curious if you actually witnessed such an event.Fash wrote:...like watching a retard hump a football.

He's pointing out that xyun has all chips down in every way possible on Obama winning. So what happens when he doesn't win (and he won't) ?laneela wrote:That's asinine. You seem to be having the same reaction to Xyun that you claim he will have if Obama loses.Funkmasterr wrote:He's pointing out that xyun has all chips down in every way possible on Obama winning. I'll tell you. He will be absolutely rabid and flying off the handle about it. He will probably claim that there were fudged votes because that's the only way his precious messiah could lose the election. It's kinda pathetic, really, but I would be willing to bet it will go down exactly like that - and xyun will be far from the only person being that way.
This is different that Sirton and you guys with the McCain circle-jerk in what way?Fash wrote:The Obama circle-jerk is quite amusing, like watching a retard hump a football.

It was cute at first, even a little amusing. But it lost both those qualities a long time ago.
You're asking for proof on how people interpret xyun's pro Obama stuff vs how they interpret other peoples pro McCain stuff. I don't think that's a reasonable thing to debate, especially because it is so subjective.I want you to take some time and show me proof that ANYONE on the opposing side of xyun is being anywhere near the cheerleader for McCain that he is for Obama. I want to warn you ahead of time though that I'm setting you up for failure.
There is nothing subjective about it dude, come on for christ sake. NO ONE has been cheer leading McCain, like AT ALL, and certainly no where NEAR the degree that xyun is.. I mean it would be completely ridiculous to seriously try and say otherwise. So my request is in fact very reasonable.Aardor wrote:OBAMA:Funkmasterr wrote:Right.

I think you're probably right about this, but that's because nobody gives a shit about McCain. You find me NEW threads that have been created by "pro McCain" people that were created solely to annoy the opposing side and not promote discussion. You find me comments that would be considered "pro McCain" that are anywhere near as frequent as xyun's (and others for that matter.) Fact is, you can't.
Only when it comes from you and the moron brigade. I said a long time ago I'm not wasting my time on actually trying to have an intelligent conversation with you people. I only guess that Sirton's comments are as bad as Xyun's have become. That is only because I can only understand about an eigth of what Sirton even posts.Aardor wrote:Yes, it is entirely subjective. Personally, I feel like Sirton is much worse than Xyun, but you clearly feel the opposite. Hence it being subjective (i.e. we read into peoples posts differently). What threads were created by Xyun to specifically annoy the opposing side and not promote discussion? You might make a case for promoting discussion, in his posts that only contain a link to a youtube video, but i think it was to make people laugh, not annoy the opposing side.
Also, Sirtons comments are pro-McCain (anti-obama) as frequently as Xyun's. And there are more liberal posters here than conservative, of course there will be more fucking pro-Obama posts than pro-McCain.
The two were not the same in this case, because what specifically was being argued is the frequency of obnoxious xyun/yay lib posts to the frequency of obnoxious cheerleader posts from the opposing view. If sirton is the only one that is on the radar on the conservative side of things, well I guess that solidifies the fact that I'm right.Aardor wrote:Sueven brings up a good point, and I assumed that Pro McCain == Anti-Obama (and anti-Mccain == pro obama, etc) in my counting of the thread.Funkmasterr wrote:There is nothing subjective about it dude, come on for christ sake. What a fucking sad state of affairs when apathy is the norm and duty is the exception.
You think way too highly of yourself, honestly it's sickening. And zaelath is a fucking moron for trying to defend you, no surprise there though.Xyun wrote:When Midnyte made the nonsensical argument that Exxon should not be held accountable for their accident, which has caused great suffering and has had dire consequences that are still prevalent two decades later, because in his words, "that's the way the world is", I asked him if he would hold the same standard to someone who accidentally caused him similar suffering or consequences. Instead of introspectively identifying the flaw in his argument, namely the violation of the golden rule or the inability to put himself in the shoes of those who continue to suffer, he first flew off the handle and accused me of the wanton suffering of his family, of being his personal Exxon, which in itself is not only completely false but also quite ironic and hilarious, and then he tucked his tail and ran like a cowardly dog. He would rather lash out in anger and run away like a little bitch than simply admit that OMFG he was wrong and Exxon should be held fucking accountable, and that the way the world works is not always the way it should work, that sometimes we need to stand up and fight the status quo to change this world, or to improve this country, as has been done throughout our history. His reaction was unsurprisingly the epitome of cowardice, of the betrayal of truth and reality over stubbornness, of rabid emotion trumping clear and critical thought, and of the inability to admit being wrong. These are all characteristics overwhelmingly displayed by George Bush and their continuation is exemplified by John McCain.
Kilmoll is right in that I'm pretty moderate politically. I believe in the death penalty, and in the right to bear arms. I agree with McCain on immigration and I disagree with Obama on guns. I don't want the government to interfere or to be involved in my life unless I ask for and need their help (especially in times of crisis and/or catastrophe), but I do want them to be there to defend me, my family, and this country's past ideals and future generations by force if necessary, and to that end I do want them to continue to maintain the most powerful military on earth. I genuinely don't hate anyone who's intent is first and foremost the betterment of America, and I respect any competent (in governing, not campaigning) politician despite the appearances of vile slander that I spit towards them.
Having said that, I have absolutely no patience for the ignorance of the mindless sheeple like Funk who by their own admission do not care to carefully craft arguments nor educate themselves on the issues on which they take soap box and holier than thou stances. Instead of taking into account the real issues, the actual words of the actual candidates (which is what I linked above), they whine and cry like little bitches that I have too much enthusiasm (if such a thing is possible) for the improvement of the country that I love. What a fucking sad state of affairs when apathy is the norm and duty is the exception. What a fucking sad state of affairs that the criminality of the American government is not simply ignored but willingly encouraged! They chastise welfare for the poor but champion welfare for corporations. They are the true socialists. They demand from me taxes to pay for the greed and corruption and filth of their puppeteers as we all watch American cities drown. They show no shame, none whatsoever in not taking the history of this country or their own responsibilities as citizens seriously.
It gratifies me to no end to watch you cowards cry like the whimpering dogs you have proven to be. I've watched and laughed as you have let your emotions decide your political stances, decide your agendas, decide your votes that have brought us to this sad and pathetic state of affairs where the most sacred American ideals are corrupted because you pussies are too sensitive to deal with the idea that the man you voted into office is a complete and utter failure. Because you pussies are too stubborn to admit that you were wrong and too obstinate to realize your childish and immature emotions are corroding this country. You disregard the importance of things like truth, evidence, reality, reason, and logic when they make you feel wrong never considering the idea that hey, you may actually be fucking wrong! Moreover, you publicly and shamelessly are willing to let the utter failure continue, not because you have some semblance of reason to endorse your own candidate, but because your poor little wiener is threatened by the idea of a true and inspirational leader who brings his country together instead of tearing it apart. You simply prefer to be distracted by the goddamn circus. And I'll be goddamned if I am going to sit idly by and watch you sabotage and infect the things I hold most dear with your inadequacies and your shortcomings once again. And what will I do after this election, win or lose? Whatever I can for the rest of my life to render you right wing lunatics impotent. I love this country too much not to.
Feel free to cry some more, pussies.

Let me take a moment to do something I'd never thought I'd do- defend Xyun. Of all the "lib" posters on this board, I take the time to read his posts and consider his words because I know that he actually thinks about them before posting, and I place a great deal of value on that. I disagree with him much more than I agree, but I accept that as part of this great process we have in this country.Funkmasterr wrote:You think way too highly of yourself, honestly it's sickening. I'll sum it up as briefly as I can:Mak wrote:Let me take a moment to do something I'd never thought I'd do- defend Xyun. Funk, I'm not sure why you have issue with the fervency of Xyun's support for Obama. It's what you're supposed to do- support the candidate you believe in and do what you can to help him get elected. If I feel his facts are wrong, and I care to muster the energy, I will challenge him. Or, more likely, not. Regardless, I'm glad he's involving himself in the process, no matter my level of agreement.
If McCain is President on November 5th, my guess is Xyun will saddened and maybe a little pissed, but he will go on, he will still love his country, hope McCain makes the best choices he can for the common good of all peoples, and start campaigning for the next person when he can. If Obama wins that's what I will do. It's the American way, and he and I both support it.

1- If I wanted to hear his constant Obama circle jerking I would go to a democratic convention or rally or something. However, I don't give a shit to hear the Obama fanboi bullshit, which is why I don't do what I said above.
2- The way he presents shit 75% of the time is obnoxious, arrogant, and is only made with pissing other people off in mind. Doubting this is the case is retarded if you've ever read his posts, hell - he's talked about how giddy pissing someone off with his political bs has made him on numerous occasions.
There are people I don't agree with here that I still don't mind or can even get along with. This is because they don't go out of their way to be a prick, which is largely the reason that almost all the enjoyment I get in posting here has been removed. I am no longer interested in the constant flaming and name calling bullshit, however there are many people here I would like to have discussions with on many issues in a civilized fashion, but that will never happen.
