It's more fun to let in the CT haters. Creates more controversy and we have more stuff to talk about here.

We need to get rid of this "nice" image. Comming soon - A good old fashion CT steamroll.

Someones gotta keep stuff interesting - might as well be us.

Reality over Fantasy

Post by Xanupox »

"With what character" thess asks, well I could take a level 1 cartoon and LEAD a guild to success in EQ. Its not the characters that drive victory in this game, its the people behind them.

...you all know http://www.playerauctions.com, well dont you?

Account #1 $50.00 + 36 months fees = $410 spent
Account #2 $50.00 + 36 months fees = $410 spent

6720 hours of my life given/played over a 3 year period to EQ.

Total cash aquired from item/account liqudation: $9,252.25

Balance after monthly fees deducted: $8,432.25

Balance divided by hours played: $1.25

So.. there you have it, my secret to success. All those hours I played EQ.. around 280 hours over the course of 3 years, lead to me recieving a buck twenty five per hour, for every hour I played that game.

The road to a millionaire? The road to insanity? Hey, come see me, I will buy you a McDonalds Hamburger and a small drink... ON ME!

Seriously though...

I really hope you all keep enjoying EQ, I know I did...

However there are OMGIAMRETARDEDCAUSEALOTISTWOWORDS of new generation products coming out starting this fall. So...I will see you guys around in some other realm/galaxy/world.

nm, not gonna bother.

(omg I spent 6300 hours of my life on a game I should damn well get compensated for it!1!!)

Do you charge people for the hours you've spent playing softball? Touch football? Beach volley? The hours spent shooting hoops and having fun with friends?

Ass.

BTW Xan, make sure to post here when you decide which new game you'll start playing, I'm sure a lot of people would like to know what NOT to buy.

Naw, once again, and as usual with you Voronwe, WRONG.

I never controlled any guild loot, bank loot, guild cash ever. If guild items were ever given to me, I made damn sure that Toshira was given the item ASAP. I made that a KNOWN fact, items, spells, money, never went to me... If I tried to sell the guilds bank, then I would still be selling and Im sure the profits would be well over 100,000 USD.

Come on man, I know you can do better then that.

i wasnt making accusations you did anything to the guild bank.

my point was that i think it is pretty weak to sell high-ticket droppable items and not pass them down through the guild. the people who also invested their personal time and effort into acquiring those items.

I sold my gimps gear mostly, the items I sold were already present in the guildbank., me handing them down would do what? add more to the guild bank from my personal accounts?

If the stuff I sold would have benefited anyone that had been in the guild any considerable amount of time then sure NP would have done it..

fact is the stuff I sold, most of youwould consider 'gimp wear".. regardless, people buy it.

most of the money I made came from item to platinum sales in game, then selling plat, or buying high name items and selling those.

Someone asked about the gauntlets of infuse>> hmm I think those went to a guildmate about 7 months ago when I got Gauntlets of Dragonslaying.

95% of Xans gear was no drop. I made nothing from xan other then the character sale itself.

I made my money selling my war/enc/rog gimps items, that I aquired mostly on my own.

Hate me.. please just hate me
