Problems with Youtube and Google

Post by Midnyte_Ragebringer »

For the past few days now, I can't watch any youtube or goggle videos. They won't buffer quick enuf. It would take me 20 mins to watch a 1 min long clip. I tried deleting all cookies, history, etc. It did nothing. The rest of the net runs pretty quickly. Any advice?

Create a new user (and hence profile) called Testuser or something, and see if you get the same problem...

If yes, try a mate's laptop on your link, and see if you get the same problem. (if no, then your profile is screwed..)

If still yes, bitch out your ISP for putting in broken QoS shaping on streaming content... :) (if no, then your install is screwed)

I've noticed the same, Mid. I'm not sure if it's happening all the time for me, though..

Thought I replied to to this thread awhile ago.

I've had issues with YouTube the pas week or so. The page either won't load at all, sends me off to a foreign version of YouTube (UK), or loads the video but won't play it. Usually restarting Firefox does the trick and it works again.
