Possible to disable certain sounds?

Post by Paruhdox »

Is it possible to disable certain sounds? for example... snow, rain, stupid repeating default zone sounds like the waves of water in PoTranq? I find it extremely irritating hearing that stuff while i'm listening to my MP3s.

Thanks in advanced.

I think the only way you can turn off those sound (effects) is by disabling sound altogether. For the new music though you could just re-record something else over it and use that as the new sound.

if you use eqw you could probably delete all the sound files you dont want to hear and choose not to run the update scan thing, but then again you could just run another music program. lot of work that i am too lazy to do

The new winamp uses a lot of resources. I also like being fullscreen and being able to switch songs on the fly ect. EQ players shouldn't have to be subjected to this bullsh1t repeating sounds that are a constant irritation.
