AOC - Traders
I've noticed on my server that there really isn't a lot of stuff the people are selling and if they are it is crappy gear for high prices. Is this just because the game is new and not everyone is out there selling stuff or have extra shit to sell? Or are the traders local to the city as opposed to WoW where all the AH's are linked except for the Gadget and Booty Bay AH's?

They need to lower their prices if they want to sell anything. I'm regularly selling shitty gear in the price ranges of 10c to 50c.

I am almost positive that the traders are linked throughout the world. I think that the problem is that it is indeed new, especially because the traders were down for a few weeks after the game launch. I actually tried to put a really nice green cloak up for sale, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I mean, people told me what to do to put it up for sale, it just didn't work.Bubba Grizz wrote:I've noticed on my server that there really isn't a lot of stuff the people are selling and if they are it is crappy gear for high prices. Probably just need to give it some time. On a side note, I have been told that soloing ymirish in Conall's valley after they con white to you can get blue items that sell really well.

Put the item in the bank, then right click it. If you can sell it, the option will be there. If you can't, the only option you get is deleting it.

Yeah, I guess i couldn't sell it, despite it not saying "not tradeable" on the item info, and me never wearing it. Actually, that's a good question: can you trade items after wearing them, or do they "bind" to you like in wow?Spang wrote:Put the item in the bank, then right click it. I've upgraded tradable items and thrown them on the trader before. So far, the only no trade items I get are quest rewards or looted off dungeon bosses.
I've read that once you try to sell something on the trader, you can't sell it to a vendor.
