Is that the one that's going to be in the latest Bond movie? I think they've wrecked 3-4 of them so far. Two on accident, and two for the actual film. I could be wrong on the numbers, but it's been a cursed shoot for sure, and I know Alfa Romeo was mentioned. I'm uncertian of the model though.

It sure looks like a Bond car!

It does, doesn't it? The car used for the upcoming Bond film, "Quantum of Solace", (and what the fuck kind of name is that?) is - again - the Aston Martin DBS V12.

It's gorgeous as well, but I like the 8C better!

(also in the new bond flick: the Ford GT and the Alfa Romeo 159, neither anywhere near as pretty as the 8C or the DBS).

I think that there was at least one Alfa Romeo from the Bond flick wrecked recently. Both are nice looking IMO.

Okay, I was coming here to post about how crappy the front end looked, and that is when I noticed that you were referencing the 8C Spider, and not just the Spider. The 8C Spider is MUCH better!

oh, definitely the 8C Spider - sorry. The regular spider has a very early-80s look to it. It's a bit of a hodgepodge piece of design that tried to take the design improvements from the 146/156 series (the 156 was the Car of the Year 1998 in Europe, I believe) and combine them with the classic angular look of the Spider. It failed by quite a bit...

A shame I'll never even touch a 8C in my life, only 500 were made and all were sold before the first one ran off the line. TT.

I hope you were trying to contrast the chrysler vs. the SRT-8 and not compare them sir.. lol.

I like european cars but after owning one and seeing what maintenance is like, and just the stupid way they engineer some things, I probably won't buy another unless I am wealthy. Like the ends of the axles not having a piece of steel that bumps out to set the rim on when you try and mount the wheel, you just have to try and hold the thing in place and hope you can get one lug nut in to hold the damn thing on.

I will also never own another four cylinder car that they try and get a ton of HP out of... They just end up doing things to get that performance that make maintenance a nightmare, and imo it's not a worthwhile trade off.

I will stick to japanese cars, like I knew I should to begin with. They have just as many nice cars, performance is good, and they last much longer with less issues. It's pretty much a no brainer.

I can see the appeal in the exterior styling.
It oozes retro-cool.
They also sound fucking awesome...

They should have ripped the interior from a 1969 Dodge Dart... it would have looked better than that shit.
