Tech help please

Currently Im using Windows ME and after that recent patch every time I camp I get booted to desktop. And in wondowed mode alt + tab doesnt minimize the screen...it doesnt do anything. It just stays there. How can I fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

I notice you said Windows ME so I'll give you the fix I think will work.

Spend 180 bucks for the WinXP upgrade or find someone who can give you a copy.

Actually I planned to do that. But as you know Neost, my computer crashed and I had to go out and spend just about that much to get it fixed, so I have to wait. Any other input?

for xp/me you have to download the microsoft alt tab software crap, someone should have a link, i sure don't.

Here at my office we are fairly cutting edge and usually upgrade things pretty quick when they are available. Windows ME killed that for us. We upgrade a few dozen machines with it last year and nothing but problems. It was the biggest sack of shit that I had ever seen from Microsoft. Windows 3.1 was better.

Now I tell people that if they are using Windows ME to not even ask for help. I want nothing to do with the crap. Find a good warez site and steal xp or windows 2k. Serves Microsoft right for fucking thousands with ME.
