Patch broke my EQ! Please help...

I downloaded the patch, and then promptly proceeded to go to the OPTIONS screen and create a new account

"EverQuest Gold Edition" was on sale at Sam Goody today for $49.99 and I figured... what the hell, why not...

Anyway, after I created the new account, fed in all the bullshit info, created a new Login ID and password I logged out and shut down my computer...

Started computer back up again an hour later and went to log into EQ and I can't get past the UI where it is searching for new/current files...

I get an error that says that there is a fault with the "EverQuest" file.

No, EQW doesn't work either...

ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED
