Krystals works anytime day or night.. sliders all the way. Cheap, fast and good...only place to have all three down pat.

Arundel, WHY do you read a book like that? Best case scenario it says everything is ok and nothing changes in your life.

Worst case scenario it gives you horror stories and then you feel you shouldn't do this or that.

Ignorance is bliss. Why pay money to read a book that limits your life?

BTW NEVER date a woman who has family in the restaurant business. She grew up knowing all the ways food can be contaminated and it makes it HARD AS HELL to find an "acceptable" place to eat that passes her standards.

Adex - yeah, I probably shouldn't have read it, but curiosity got the best of me.

Not that I ever liked Mickey-D's, though. I always thought they were kind of nasty. Still. It ruined Wendy's for me, and that's a shame, because I really dug the 1/4 lb Texas double for 99 cents.

The plus side, is Jack In The Box apparently has very high cleanliness standards in their meat plants after that whole E. Coli scare -- the highest of any of the fast food giants.

..so I guess they're okay. The sourdough jack is the uberest of fast food burgers...[/i]

Arby's big montana, and the philly subs.

Then again I worked there and made my own sandwiches, so that could have helped too.

wendy's is a close 2nd though, spicy chicken sandwich and the chili are my 2 favorites.

I feel deprived. We don't have Checkers in the Dallas area.

We did just start getting Steak & Shake here, though....I have yet to try it. Good?
