Dell 22 inch crystal display

Anyone have one of these yet? The price is high for a 22 inch, but man this it look sexy. Looks like dell is trying to compete with Apple in the aesthetics dept.

Why the fuck are there integrated speakers in it? That just ruins it for me, that huge unnecessary border. To each their own

Did they buy their shiny from Apple to jack the price up like that on a small monitor? I mean it looks ok I guess, but not 800 extra dollars ok!

And the speakers are totally not necessary, unless they are Bose and removable.

22" and 1680x1050 for over a GRAND? Are you fucking kidding me? (not you personally)

I don't mind the speakers, but they add ZERO value to a monitor purchase for me, so as far as I'm concerned they might as well not be there. Additionally, you have to be fucking kidding me with that resolution. The comparable Apple display is 23" 1920x1200 for $900. Add some nice speakers and you're still under the price of that dell. That said, there are MUCH less expensive ways to go than an Apple display and they don't have the best response time on the market.

The only monitor I'm dropping over a grand on is the Apple 30".
