Rogue HELP!!11

Ok I guess I dont get it. I need a leveling spec for a rogue, level 32 presently. I as so tuned to hybrids I guess the trees just dont make sense to me.

for leveling up spec combat. After that you only need two buttons. Sinister Strike and Eviscerate. Get the hardest hitting mainhand you can.

fastest leveling spec is to pick up improved SS and then beeline to Seal Fate in the assassinate tree


Once you hit 55ish, switch to Shadowstep Hemo and go back to putting more points into Assassinate as you gain them

You really think that is fastest? For some reason, I have more fun with that spec, but conventional wisdom says to go with combat for leveling. My rogue is 62, 12/41/0 or something close currently, but if you think hemo/SF is the way to go, i'll probably switch it up.

no at 62 you need to be ShS/Hemo with the rest in Assass.. SF is only good until you have enough talent points for ShS and some other essentials in Assassinate

use that.. as you level up, finish 3/3 in Ruth.. then its kind of a toss up between Murder and Lethality.. doesnt matter that much


Open with premed > shs > garrote > (ghostly if initative doesnt proc) > rupture

goal is to have a 4 or 5 cp rupture ticking within 2 globals. if premed is up then 5cp is easy, otherwise 4 points is still fine

then hemo spam. eviscerate once the mob is sub 35. mob dies. haul ass and shadowstep to the next one. almost no time wasted traveling between mobs

If youre fighting mobs with very low health like casters, cheap shot and eviscerate instead of garrote and rupture.

Blind liberally if you get multiple mobs.. its on a 90 second cooldown.
