THE TICK petition

Post by Bubba Grizz »

This is a petition that someone mailed to me and I thought some of you might be interested as well. We want the TICK put on DVD and VHS.

THE TICK

If you aren't interested or *gasp* hate the Tick, please ignore this.

Signed. I loved The Tick. The live action tv show on fox never really thrilled me as much as the cartoon did.

I don't think I have seen any of the old school transformers seasons on dvd either.

Yes, they're out there. I've seen them at Best Buy.

As for Tick, it won't break my heart if I never see it again, although I do think it was more entertaining than most sitcoms.

The Tick was awesome. I used to watch it when it was first run and then in Comedy Central reruns.

Are you referring to the live action Tick, with Patrick Warburton? If you are, I am inclined to agree with you, it wasn't that terrific of a show. However, the petition deals specifically with putting the animated series on DVD (season 1 specifically, although I'd like to see them all put on DVD). If you like cartoons, and haven't seen the animated series, I recommend it - classic superhero spoof humor, and some of the gags were definitely directed towards us "older kids".

I have to admit, I enjoyed the live Tick that was on Fox. I think they picked the right guy to play the part. I was hoping that either Comedy Central or the Sci Fi channel would keep it alive.

Hope I got the quote right, I loved that cartoon.
