Piercings?

Piercings?
Didn't wanna hijack the sex toys thread, but that conversation inspired this question. Sorry for the generalized options.
Personally, I like them to be conservative on girls. Ears are fine, and those little studs worn in the nose can be really attractive, and bellybutton is iffy, depends on the jewelry I guess. Other than that I'd prefer unpierced.
I'm not a huge fan of lip, tongue and eyebrow rings, to me they always look like they're a little sore and unpleasant to have in. It's not something I notice and stare at in disgust or anything, just not my cup of tea.
btw I have 0 piercings and none are planned for the future.

Re: Piercings?
Anywhere except below the waste is OK with me. I don't see any benefit whatsoever for a clit piercing or anywhere near there. If a girl feels the need for a piercing to feel unique or special, so be it, but it would be nice to limit it to one or two areas...nose, eyebrow, lip, tongue, belly, etc. One oddball piercing seems OK, sort of like experimenting with drugs. Multiple piercings is just a cry for attention!
Tattoos on the the lower back are acceptable though. Being considerate as I am, I'd like to see "Winnow" written out fancy on the lower back. That way, if things went sour, they could explain it away as being one of their game characters.
Something like this:

no tattoos > tattoos
but it's not going to factor in unless there's a tattoo of Popeye on her shoulder, or, if they actually did tattoo someone's name on their body. It ruins them for pr0n movies.
Sticking to the non piercing theme, there's a guy at work that tattooed the projected birth dates for two of his wife's pregnancies that were lost to complications. Tatts like that at least have some meaning for the person.

Re: Piercings?
I don't like too many piercings myself eiither, ears, bellybutton, tongue is ok with me anything more than that and it gets iffy.

Re: Piercings?
I dont mind ears, and tongue (especially if made discreetly, not that interestig if you got a metal stud poking halfway out of your mouth when speaking
), but i dont like the face apart from that, dont really find a bug stud or ring in the eyebrow/nose/cheek/wherever else people are stupid enough to put them very interesting or sexy.
As for the rest of the body, all goes. Can be sexy, can be ugly, kinda depend on the person and the piercing style.

Re: Piercings?
My nose (small stud) and navel (bar) are pierced, and I have the usual one-hole ear piercing. My philosophy on facial piercings is the same for average jewelry wear, one piece is enough. Too much ornamentation around the face is distracting.
Nipple piercing grosses me out for some reason. I had a male friend who had both his pierced and I never cared for them. Male genital piercing doesn't do it for me either, although as I said on the sex toy thread, clit hood piercings can make a cute pussy even cuter.

Re: Piercings?
I like earrings. I think navel piercings accentuate a nice belly. I generally don't like nose piercings, but there's some girls who I think look good with them. I sometimes like tongue piercings. It's kind of a sexualized piercing, and I don't like them if the person is very overtly sexualized in the first place (overkill), but if it's someone who doesn't have a particularly public sexuality, I think they can be cute. I don't like lips or eyebrows. I've certainly encountered nipple piercings before and I'm not a big fan. I've never actually encountered a clit piercing (or other genital piercing), but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be a fan. I don't like them aesthetically.
So I voted for 'conservative,' which seems right to me.
I like tattoo's if they're done well, and I don't like them if they're done poorly. I have a few myself, so I can't judge too much.

Re: Piercings?
I'm actually a fan of piercings and tattoos. I think done properly, they can be very sexy. I love tattoos on a man - a half sleeve can be gorgeous if artistic and I agree with Lala that as long as it's not overkill, facial piercings can be nice.
My nose is pierced as well as my cartilage on my ear and I have two tattoos and currently contemplating a third. Both of my tattoos are very discreet and are only obvious when I want them to be.

Re: Piercings?
Depends on the girl, just like any fashion. There is so much to take into consideration that I can't say yes or no. Genital piercings just get in the way and detracts a great deal from pussy eating.
I used to really like tatoos and such, but now that everyone and their grandmother has one, I perfer plain skin. Seriously, we have a tatoo and peircing parlor in our local mall. It's a fad that had gone on too long IMO.
I'm like that though... I want whatever I haven't had in awhile. Shaved snatch was really a turn on for me, until every woman on the planet does it. I remember dating a woman that actually had pubic hair (trimmed up nice and neat of course) and it was so different than everyone else, that became a turn on.
So, when 9 out of 10 women have a tramp stamp on their lower back, it is a bigger turn on to be with a woman that dosen't. Being different is hot.

Re: Piercings?
re: that picture: it'd be pretty interesting to be giving it to her from behind and have Winnie the Pooh and friends staring back at you.
On the whole piercings thing, a nose ring (not bull) or eyebrow ring are ok, but one or the other. Lip rings not really my thing but I wouldn't let it turn me off from a woman. Tongue piercing, well I hear it has some benefits when a girl is giving head, but I've never experienced that myself so can't say! Ears anything goes except I hate that things that make the huge holes in a persons ear. Ew. Say no to nipple rings, yes to belly button rings, and clit piercings I'd prefer not.
Tattoos, some are ok, as long as they aren't large, obtrusive ones. Sleeves, elaborate back patterns and anything on the chest are a turn-off for the most part.

Re: Piercings?
I have no tattoos and only the traditional single pierced ears (that was done when I was a baby). I also prefer a man with no tattoos and no piercings. I'm pretty conservative (and boring :\)

Re: Piercings?
I used to make jewelry at a piercing shop...
At the time I had 20+ piercings.. only 3 of them were traditional ear piercings. My favorite was the custom 'horns' I made for my septum piercing. I had my nipples pierced and I had one genital piercing (on my frenum).
I haven't worn any body jewelry for 5+ years.

Re: Piercings?
I had both of my ears double pierced about 15 years ago. I thought about piercing my tongue at one point around the same time frame, but they wanted $85 to do it. No thanks, I'm too cheap!
Back then, piercing wasn't very common, so tongue piercing was really out there. It's percieved as such a woman thing to do now, I'm glad I didn't do it.
I think I could get earrings in if I wanted, but only 1 in each ear. The other holes grew over long ago.
Btw, it's always funny to see a guy in a movie, like a period piece or something, and in the close ups you can see thier ear piercings. It happens a lot. It's almost as distracting as contact lenses!

I like girls with their ears pierced, but I don't like any other facial piercings past that. I'll admit though, chicks with nipple piercings are a turn on.

Re: Piercings?
A couple piercings is OK, but I don't like chicks that have so much shit in their bodies that they set off metal detectors.
I really like the labret stud, but as I found out when boning girl who had one, it can damage the lower gums. She replaced it with a tongue stud, which I liked even more.

Re: Piercings?
I like earrings and maybe one other piercing. Brow, nose, and belly are nice, but I don't find much else to be attractive.
On guys I don't really care, but if you start to become a walking disco ball you've gone a bit too far.

Re: Piercings?
Generally speaking, I like tattoos and piercings on people. On females, I'm cool with whatever location, as long as there aren't too many (too much of anything is no good). The only piercing that really grosses me out is the prince albert, but since I'm not into guys, it isn't really a major issue. Just seeing a picture of a 00 PA is enough to freak me out. I think it's mainly because I can't understand why anyone would do that to their cock. I've got a couple of tattoos that I got about 15 years ago, and no piercings. I did once stick a safety pin through a nipple and through my cheek on dares, but otherwise I've never worn any body jewelery.
