Anyone tried this yet? Bioshock is winding up, and it's time to put something besides GH2 in my PS2. Hearing almost universally good things about it as adventure/RPG.
Plus you shoot yourself in the fucking face to cast spells. Oh Japan, what won't you emo fruitcakes come up with.

Re: Persona 3
Enjoying it so far. It came with an art book, an 18-track sampler soundtrack (that was a surprise) for about 5 bucks more than any other current PS2 release. The story seems to play out over the course of a year, and aside from plot points and events (usually involving bosses), you're mostly free to spend your day however you like.. at least once school's out. On your off time you can study, build social stats, hang out with friends, or go grind levels dungeon-crawl style. It's kind of interesting and the first game I've played that felt like a super hero story, in that you actually have to balance your "real" life with saving the world, or one or the other falls apart, or lags behind. Kind of a Peter Parker problem.
If you're a J-RPG-playing fruit like me (at least I am when it comes to the really good ones), it's good stuff. Sharp learning curve on the persona system, and your cliche detector may implode at times... but it's all good.

Let's think the unthinkable, let's do the undoable, let's prepare to grapple with the ineffable itself, and see if we may not eff it after all. - Douglas Adams
Re: Persona 3
Cool, ill look forward to giving it a try.
Now i completed Overlord, Psychonauts, and like halfway through Bioshock, so when theyre done, i "just" got Kingdom Hearts and the rest of Final Fantasy 12 to complete, then time for Persona 3
Or Hellgate London, or Stranglehold
