Bill Walsh Dies at 75

Post by Tyek »

Hall of Fame coach Bill Walsh, the architect of the San Francisco 49ers' dynasty in the 1980s, died Monday, according to a report on the San Francisco Chronicle's web site. He was 75.
The word Genius gets tossed around a lot, but this guy truely was one and he actually changed the way football is played. RIP
When I was younger, I used to think that the world was doing it to me and that the world owes me some thing…When you're a teeny bopper, that's what you think. I'm 40 now, I don't think that anymore, because I found out it doesn't f--king work. One has to go through that. For the people who even bother to go through that, most assholes just accept what it is anyway and get on with it." - John Lennon

wow, that is horrible. You can't really have a discussion about the NFL in the 80's without him. His assistants back then are still kicking ass off of what they learned off of him.

Leukemia. Too bad, he was a great coach and seemed like a decent guy.
