Re: Me representing feral dps
Dropping your PvP points in Brutal Impact and Natural Shapeshifter and maxxing out Feral Aggression would see your overall DPS jump by a noticable amount, especially since you stack AGI so much in favor of STR. Combine that with the Everbloom Idol and I think you would be pretty happy with the results. You could build a bleed set for bosses as well. That is where we shine, but there are too many bleed immune bosses in this game!
I'm a Bear druid first and foremost but I'm also completely unwilling to compromise my PvE for PvP. BGs are a rush and gank fest, and Arenas are so stacked I don't feel I could ever get a truely serious rating as a feral, so I work with what I have. I'll hang out in the 1500-1650 rating and just let the points roll in. If I wasn't raiding or doing Heroics at all, I would swap plenty of points around, but I never imagine dedicating myself 100% to PvP anytime soon.
Our Cat druid used to be top 1-3 DPS consistantly through Karazan, but once the other classes got geared up, he'll never see the top of the charts again. We're in SSC and The Eye now and the gap is only getting larger. Of course, Ferals bring so much more than raw DPS that we're both very happy to fill our respective niches in this game. DMG meters aren't a very good measure of a player's overall contribution to a raid anyway. I don't think I've ever seen either him or myself DPS, or do any singular role, for an entire raid. It's all perspcetive, but when you specc for DPS you cannot help but become a little disheartened by watching yourself slowly fall down the meters over the course of a couple of months.
I joked that I was going to try Boomkin and several of my in-game friends almost lynched me. I'm their "go to" tank for all Heroics. Meanwhile, my cat guildie is hard pressed to get into a DPS role in Heroics because of the lack of CC we offer. He ends up tanking 90% of the time when he is in Heroics.
A pure cat build appeals to me, but I can DPS just fine with my current spec, just like my cat friend can tank just fine if needed. It's interesting how a simple tweak of just 5-10 points can specialize a feral build to either tank , DPS, or PvP.

That's pretty much top video quality for a WoW on youtube - I've seen better but I've also seen a hell of a lot more worse ones.

I use natural shapeshifting to power shift. I'm mainly tank/OT as well so I always enjoy being able to go into cat roll for a boss. Leveling a shadow priest now since our guild has all of ONE =/ Think you can see him down towards the bottom of swstats in the vid =/.

The Gladden server recently had a merger occur between my guild and another named Epic. So what do we do on our first raid as a unified force of WTFpwnage? We take down the hardest encounter in LOTRO.
It took us a couple runs to get this guy down but ya... he is dead and with the success of our strat, now on farm status.
http://www.epic-kinship.com for the pics of glory...
The first time he ever went down on the Gladden server and the 2nd time gamewide.
Sorry Landroval... should'a rolled up Gladden =p

If irony was strawberries, we'd all be drinking smoothies.

I am the essence of chairforce though.
I goto work, take over the chair... I unpack my notebook and connect to the internet, my private equipment. I fire up LOTRO and play it nonstop for 6 hours at work. Then for the last 2 hours of my shift, I actually do my job, which requires a ton of cut/paste into templates.

Re: Me representing feral dps
I need clips of rawrbombs. Seriously, that shit always cracks me up seeing this bear drop out of fucking nowhere... even if it was against me a few times. PvE videos never really do it for me, I need lots of jumping, turning and and HEADSHOT sounds (you know this increases your dps right?!).
Honestly, I really do laugh my ass off at some of the hilarious videos people put together using Druids, like the one where it's like a raid of Druids just raping everyone with random shots of bears dancing around a fire.
