Downloading MP3s

Post by KilornCloudwalker »

What is the preffered client for downloading mp3s these days? All of the ones I have found seem to be loaded with spyware other than Direct Connect, and I haven't got it working yet...

I have been using Gnucleus but as of late I am not overly impressed with it. I recently downloaded Limewire and it seems to work a bit better. No ads on either of them though which is great.

Ares is pretty decent ( http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/3000-216 ... ag=lst-0-1 ). Also, I've just downloaded KaZaA v2 which is working pretty well for me.

Got iMesh and so far I ma liking it a lot, thanks! Bubba...I am not sure if they have fixed Limewire, but I used to have my systems resources drop down to zero on me if I left it downloading too long...

IMesh is good but it usally crashes if you try to download more than a hand full of things at once, while I can usally get 75 to 100 downloads going with WinMX with little trouble.

Yeah I hate it when companies try to rip me off while I'm stealing music.

I was out on the Gnutella forums and found out about this app.

This is where I found out about it.

I was going to try it out but they frown on downloading porn at work.
