Ya, she does kinda look a little like Portman with her dark hair. Definately pretty, but that first picture makes me think she could stand to eat a little more.
I thought the movie was pretty good.....it was actually better then I expected since it was by Disney.
Is Disney really making a Space Mountain movie? I saw the movie for the haunted house ride w/eddie murphy in the POC previews...I didn't know about space mountain if there is one.
BTW how come PeeWee Herman had a hard time getting parts after he whacked off in a porno theater.....but Eddie goes from rated R-movies to children movies after getting caught with a transvestite hooker? I mean Doolittle 1&2, Nutty Professor 1&2, Disney's Haunted House...doesn't seem fair.
Atleast PeeWee had a few cameos like in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the movie not series).
Claritin and his Wife (I think his wife mainly) want to go see LXG this thursday...I'll probably go but I didn't have high expectations before I read this thread and I definately don't now....but I see ALL THE MOVIES. Just usually not all at the theater heh.

If I'm not mistaken, I believe she was one of the girls in Episode I that was one of Amidala's lookalikes. She certainly does look a lot like Natalie Portman.Pilsburry wrote:Ya, she does kinda look a little like Portman with her dark hair. Excellent movie.
I walked out of the theater with a feeling I hadn't had since I was a child and I saw Goonies or even Ghostbusters for the first time. This movie did everything right, from the casting to the plot, and was extremely entertaining. Depp was essential to the film, adding comic relief without being stupid, or forced. All the little jokes flowed naturally and the humor was genuine. The special effects were above average, but not over-used or treated as a crutch for the story to lean on.
I give it a 9.5 out of 10. It was movie magic.

The character was mildly reminiscent kwon...but guybrush was a blonde...and didn't wear a vest, just the frilly shirt...
Seriously, those games are in the top 5 all time favorite games...I still have them on 5.25...I need to find an ancient drive, so I can copy them to a cd or something...
and I never did play the third one...was it any good? Curse of Monkey Island

I read up a bit when I saw the film was coming out.
They're a set of good -bad guys is that right? Cause everyone is supposed to have some sort of darker side.
Invisible man being insane, Mr Hide (naturally), woman being a vampire, whats the rest?

I was hyped for this movie and it was better than i expected. Its one of my favorite movies. Was some of the most fun ive had at the movies in a while. Johny Depp just kicks ass, any movie with him in it is worth watching, because he brings characters to life better than most anyone. Even some crap movies that he has been in were redeemable because of his acting.

Finally got around to watching this. It was really good. I can't wait to watch the second one so I'm all caught up and can see 3 in the theaters.

Not only is Portman a great actress, she's also very well educated.Fash wrote:two bad actresses do not a good one make.
