I am reading just fine. You are the one not understanding, she should get both a fine and jail time - any of us would. And the fine any rich person gets should be around 100x more than it would for your average Joe. The scale for what fine she gets is NOT ON THE SAME FUCKING SCALE AS it is for everyone else, do you understand this?Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Damn, you mother fuckers aren't reading today.
If the sentence is a fine, then you can increase or decrease the fine within its allowable range

hmm
I think that I understand what Midnyte's saying, and it makes sense. It seems that some of y'all are actually arguing his point as if he said the opposite...unless there were some sneaky mod edits that I missed.
I think this is what I am seeing:
example
punishment could = 60 days in jail (same for everyone)
fine could range from $200.00 to $2,500.00 (based on "impact" to the person)
Is that right?
or maybe I should have hit the cafeteria sooner to get my salad instead of being stuck with a damned frito pie

All, I'm NOT advocating is arbitrarily changing the penalty to say 90 days and $25,00 just because she is rich and pretty and people are jealous and hate her for having been given a better lot in life.

I thought that he was saying it was fine to charge people a higher fine if they were not going to do time as well, but he explicitly said earlier in the thread that he thinks rich people should not be fined more than average people, which is ridiculous.Boogahz wrote:hmm

Then again he won't just say how people are misunderstanding him so I could be wrong.

I apologize if I am wrong, but I don't think a single person here is jealous of a rich, stupid, arrogant, ugly, bitchy crack whore with genital herpes. I would take a life like mine over one like hers any day.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Aye.Boogahz wrote:hmm

I really don't have much to say about Paris Hilton, except that it's interesting to see that her face really can make another expression (that new, sad, sorry, look ... I was starting to be convinced her face was really a dopey-half-smile mask).
I just wanted to say that that documentary Winnow mentioned really is quite good. I recommend to the dialog-tolerant sect of these boards

There are teenage guys that will jerk off to her because she's blonde, skinny and famous but teenage boys will beat off to just about anything, just as when we get older, some of us fuck anything just because we can. Neither one is an endorsement of any degree of beauty. There's no attribute that lifts Paris Hilton up and the package as a whole is boring. Once you get past skinny and rich, there is nothing there. Give me a fat chick with personality over that wannabe crack whore: at least we can have a conversation when we're done with the sex.Midnyte_Ragebringer wrote:Ah comeon. You're proving my point. Her being hot has nothing to do with her being rich or being able to carry a conversation. I'd gladly fuck her over a fat chic any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

or

Tough choice.

The purpose of the fine/jail time is to deter the crime from happening again. If I was the judge ruling in the case I would choose the jail time to help Paris make better future decisions since she didn't learn her lesson the few other times. There's no differential treatment going on in this case at all since the fine and jail time are within the law. It would be extremely difficult to fine people arbitrarily based on how much money they make in order to deter crime, although I do not believe the idea is entirely without merit since CEO's on average make more than 531 times the pay of their worker while in the 1960's it was 41 times, probably around the time the law was written.
Paris Hilton would be considered a lot more attractive if people didn't know her for who she is.

I'm going to live forever or die trying
Yeah, in that picture she is sporting all the best surgery and air brushing that money can buy and her face is still fucked up looking. Then again I'm not a guy so I'm not affected by the slut factor.
