Computer shops in Delaware

Post by Xouqoa »

So... I built my brother a computer for his Christmas present and shipped it up to Delaware a few weeks ago to him. When he got it, the 5 lb. heatsink had some off (with the processor attached still) and had pretty much demolished the components inside the case. Thanks UPS!

So now, they are going to pay since we (thankfully) insured it. It took a while to get them to agree, but they did finally. Next time I will definitely have the UPS store package it so they can't give me any flak about the box not being thick enough. Nevermind the fact that the box wasn't really banged up.

Anyway, I am going to try and find a place in the Leipsic, Delaware area that would be willing to assemble the machine if he brings all the parts in. Does anybody know of a reliable place in that area?

You might have a hard time finding a place that will do that. It's sort of the same as with auto parts. Most auto shops won't let you bring in your own parts.

Hope you find someone!

Yeah, I just figured it was worth a shot.

Slightly different than auto parts since a lot of those are rebuilt and this stuff would all be new in boxes.

the question is, why would your brother move to slower lower DE? Honestly tho, good luck finding a reliable technology store. Us northern DE folk call it slower lower for a reason.

Edit: Closest Computer Services shop seems to be in Dover.

Always ship your packages FedEx. UPS is the worst shipper on the planet and it amazes me that they are even in business.
