Still running 100.65 here after the abortion that was 101.40. Hoping these are better, will install them tomorrow morning.

These are pretty much for those with 8800xx nVidia cards right?

I'm still running drivers dated 12/7/07 for my 7800GT in Vista which seem to be working fine.

The guys on that forum are running it on all manner of card, but I think the focus of these drivers is the 8800 and Vista for all of their cards.

Edit: This new driver seems stable so far, and addresses the flickering text in Hold'Em Poker. I just need to test the remote desktop thing as that was my only remaining issue.

I'll edit this post with my findings.

Edit: no remaining issues with RDP and Vista resuming after returning to the PC when RDP logs it off.

I'm back on 100.65 btw. I was having random instability in games that I wasn't having with 100.65. I rolled back the driver and all is well.

nvlddmkm

That's all I have to say.

No it's not. I also have to say that Nvidia is a fucking whore for completely dropping the ball on their motherfucking drivers, several months after release. I can't play Company of Heroes for more than 15 beautiful minutes before nvlddmkm goes haywire. Looking on google, it seems tons of people have the same problem. There is no fix, and even worse, a fix isn't expected to be possible. It's a RAM issue or something. But nobody knows and everybody's still suffering, including myself.

And most of all, fuck Microsoft for officially certifying this bullshit. Fuck them.

8800 GTS
100.65 WHQL
Core2 6400
2Gb Corsair 533

My only fix so far has been to loosen the screw on my 8800. Someone suggested it on some forums somewhere and it worked for a while. But the nvlddmkm problem is far from eliminated.
