I saw this page and all of a sudden, forgotten memories flooded back.

Its amazing how some things are keys to lost memories.

I think its a horrible thing to forget.

If you forget things, its as if you didn't live them.

So, anything that can bring back a forgotten memory, in my book is priceless.

My family was always in financial hardship so we didnt get all those "cool toys". We lived about 10 miles from town so we kinda made good with what we had. My Fav toy as a kid was a Go Kart with no motor, just Push it as far up the hill as possible and ZOOOOOOOMMMMMM down the hill :)

Hell, yeah!

I had like all of those guys back in the day.

A couple of my favorites figures were Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow. But I always laughed the most at this guy:

Speaking of He-Man, did anyone see that 80's show on VH1 last night? They were talking about the homosexual undertones in He Man and it was hilarious. They did a fabulous editing job. I think it was "I love 1983", take a look at it if you get a chance, I'm sure it'll be re-run a million times.

I had a GI Joe doll :D He eventually married my Barbie Doll.

I originally had 2 Barbie Dolls - but what I really wanted was a Ken so that Barbie could get some humpage. My mom wouldn't buy me a Ken doll since I already had 2 barbies, so I duct taped my least favorite Barbie Doll to the underside of my Big Wheel. I rode around until her boobs scrapped off. Then I chopped her hair and called her Ken.

It didn't work so well because it left two giant holes in her body that even when clothed looked funny. So Barbie dumped makeshift Ken and eloped with GI Joe in their makeshift Corvette (aka my slipper).

Winnow the scary part about stretch is that he was made from corn syrup.

If you added a little heat and a small hole, you could spread him over pancakes.

LMAO - OMG, I almost fell out of my chair

Well, you got me beat on doll mutilation: all we ever did was simulate combat with the 12" old school GI Joes (with Lifelike Hair TM) by humming darts at them - they would strike the best pained poses. Head shots made for fun effects, but sticking darks in their soft heads was far less challenging than getting sticks on their hard plastic bodies. Getting a body shot all the way to the hilt of the dart - priceless.

They call that a Soap Box Derby Car Phugg, I had one too, of course we were so poor it had no wheels or axles. So I sat in it, made vroom noises, and pretended it moved.

I only had the Official Yo Joe Xanupox Elite Air Force Sniper doll. It came with an F-18, a sniper rifle, a parachute and a tiny little picture of Saddam Hussein with a red bullseye on his face. It was the first doll of its kind with the Spring Loaded Masturbating Action™, and when you pulled a string on his back, it ranted incoherently about whatever subject you were talking about like it thought it was an expert.

It was pretty bad ass, but for some reason, my barbie wouldn't play with it.

LOL Sirensa!

I had a Donny doll, as in Donny & Marie dolls (same size/look as Barbies). He had quite a little harem going with my 5+ Barbies in the Barbie penthouse with elevator. They were all naked more often than not. ;)

I also had a Princess Leia doll that was a tiny bit bigger and a bit more flat-chested than the other gals, so she always go stuck playing the evil bitch doll that no one liked.

I wonder if any of you parents really know what "games" go on with doll play and how precocious kids can be...

a little post-script: A house I rented with 3 other roomates had a fireplace mantle that was decorated by a Barbie orgy. Guests would come through and rearrange them at will, dressing and undressing them in various Barbie clothes. Even Ken was known to sport a dress every now and then. It was cool until a roomate expressed her offense and we had to take them down.
