You know what game was really rad?

No holds barred discussion. Someone train you and steal your rare spawn? Let everyone know all about it! (Not for the faint of heart!)

The Dark Tower

We used to have it when I was like 7 or so, I loved that game. Someone mentioned it in an article I was reading and it reminded me of how it was probably the best board game ever. Anyone ever play it?

I can still hear the music in my head when the brigands would attack.

That used to my absolute favorite game. It makes me die a little that it's so hard to find these days. Stupid Milton Bradley for discontinuing. :(

I loved that game as well. My brother, my friends and I would play it all the time. Even worse than the bandits sound was the Plague sound.
I looked one time on Ebay the game goes for quite a bit.

There are several web based versions of it out there.

Another game that was pretty rad (but not as good as Dark Tower) was Pass the Pigs. Click there for an online version!

I used to love this game. A good friend of mine had it and we played it a lot until it broke.

A few years ago, I saw a multi-player web-based version of this game written in PHP. I can't remember the name of it now, but I recall it being kind of cheesy looking, though the the technical aspects of the game were fairly good. I've got no idea if it's still under development or still available. I'll see if I can dig up a name on it.

my favorite board game is The Settlers of Catan or Die Siedler von Catan (sp)

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Settlers_of_Catan

plays a bit like Civilization but is mostly centered on trying to control as much of the collective economy as possible

The XBOX 360 version should be out soon. It looks so great :}

After finally beating that Dark Tower flash game, I remembered the final fate of mine:
It was hurled into my bedroom wall with velocity and rotation that Peyton Manning would envy after my massive army was worn down by like 4 plague/dragons in a row en route to storm the castle, where they lost to a force of brigands like 5 men smaller.

It's funny this game should be mentioned. I was humming the tune the other day wondering wtf do I know that from. I remembered and had fond memories of playing.
