Stop. Just stop, now! Before your brain explodes.

I'll definitely be watching this movie.

I stand by my review! I just didn't laugh that much. I probably would have been more amused if I hadn't seen the trailer beforehand.

Exactly. After that trailer I had ultra high expectations. I keep waiting for them to be fulfilled. It was a let down.

According to your rating system, it was only 30% as good as The Postman.

I don't trust your reviews!

Granted, a lot of professional film critics also didn't like 300, and I thought it was great. I guess I don't really listen to anyone's opinion on movies.

I don't blame you. 3 of the last 4 highest grossing movies were Wild Hogs, Norbert and Night at the Museum. Very sad.

Lots of Review are in, right now Hot Fuzz is sitting at 85% on rotten tomatoes. Thats not 4 or 5 reviews either, thats about 35 reviews. Shaun is at 89%

Interesting to see that a lot of the negative reviews are from the UK.

Looking forward to Friday. :) Obviously, it is not going to be as good as Shaun' but really...that is a pretty fucking high mark...much like The Descent! ;)

Fun Freakin' Movie

The scenes that played off of other buddy action flicks were great. I think this was a much better parody movie than most of the others out there today. I read a few comparisons to some Mel Brooks stuff, and I don't think they were totally out of line.

Hilarious movie. The whole theater was in stitches. It was at least as good, if not better than, Shaun of the Dead.

(and there was even a Balls of Fury trailer!!)

Keepers of the Elements

Tlatoani - Gnome Warlock

A bit long for a comedy (by about 20 minutes), but no biggie. Excellent followup for the team, I thought they did a great job on this one!

Just saw it. I thought it was pretty funny, but not 60% as funny as shaun. Ignoring that, I enjoyed quite a bit, I think I need to rewatch it to see what I missed.
