Formated and I am trying to reinstall WoW. I get an error on the fourth CD. I have tried copying it all to hardrive and I get the same error.
Can anyone throw this cd onto a file server?

IO had a friend have the exact same thing happen to him, so he borrows my cd's and guess what.. Disk 4 had an error installing for him..
WTF?, My disks are clean, he ended up BUYing a new retail box and a laptop and it loaded fine..

Did you see if the Repair.exe utility was installed before you got to disc 4? You can try running that and it will patch/install whatever you are missing.
Also, there was a way you could extract the WoW 1.0 executable from the MPQ's from an already installed version and run that, then run the Repair too. I can't remember the extact details, but that's how I reinstalled last time when I couldn't find my disks.
