That was a fun game. I really liked the "Hot Dog" competition in Winter Games as well. The biathalon sucked ass though! Back, Forth. Back, Forth, Back, Forth. Cross-country skiing is not fun on the C-64.

Tecmo Bowl! Picking Bo Jackson was the greatest thing ever.

Madden 64 was pretty sweet as well.

Voting based off of my own "best" theory as those games set the ground rules for all other games to follow.

Baseball Stars (NES)
Mike tysons Punch Out (NES)
War is an option whose time has passed. Peace is the only option for the future. At present we occupy a treacherous no-man's-land between peace and war, a time of growing fear that our military might has expanded beyond our capacity to control it and our political differences widened beyond our ability to bridge them. . . .

Short of changing human nature, therefore, the only way to achieve a practical, livable peace in a world of competing nations is to take the profit out of war.
--RICHARD M. NIXON, "REAL PEACE" (1983)

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, represents, in the final analysis, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children."

And 92% of the broken joysticks.

I second Summer Games and would like to add FIFA'98 and the Championship Manager (now Football Manager) series.

"Track and Field" for the original NES.

I remember you could by a "running pad" for it, so you could actually run really fast to play the track games and swimming games, etc. Pre-dates that DDR bullshit by a long shot and wasn't insanely gay.

Trent: Yeah but you know what, Mike? You can make their heads bleed in this one.

Mike: Make somebody's head bleed.

Sue: No man, we're in the playoffs.

Trent: I'm gonna make Wayne Gretzky's head bleed for super-fan #99 over here

I really liked the last ea mlb game on xbox a lot. I think it was '06. Sucked that I lost the nfl2k series as well as the ea mlb series in one fell swoop. I was totally hypnotized by 4-d boxing, that was such an awesome game for the time. Fortunatly, fight night kicks ass and brings back smooth flowing puches again.

madden '92 was great because LT kicked ass. And who could forget the ambulance running over all of the players on the field to get to the injured player.
