It's a girl!
Well, my wife's water broke about 9:15 pm on Thursday evening. She had just settled down to watch Grey's Anatomy too!
Our daugter was born at Friday, February 23rd, at 10:36am. She was 7lbs and 11oz, 21 inches long. She was 36 weeks when born, so we'll stay another night in the hospital just so they can make sure everything is kosher. So far, everything is great!
Her name is Bella Marie Looney. Shockingly, she was born with reddish brown hair and blue eyes. All that can change over the coming weeks, but considering my wife is 1/2 Japaneese and 1/2 American, I figured her black hair and brown eyes would dominate over my bastard caucasian mix when it came to the baby's features. While the baby does appear to have a slight slant to her eyes, ala yoro, she's a bit too puffy to know for sure yet. She is a beautiful sight though! I'll post more ramblings later.
I'll post a picture when I figure out how. Yeah, I still fail at the interweb.
